Ever found yourself lost in an array of different dining options in SM North? Well, do not fret because if you feel like being in a space that is oozing with serenity wherein you can enjoy an intimate catch up session with your friends and family or have work done amidst the crowded city, Dark Cacao & Coffee is the one you should be in.
Started with only some drinks such as coffee, they also have recently added some dishes to munch on such as their pastas and fajitas that almost all are recipes of the owner himself, plus are a great pair to their beverage line – may you be a coffee fan, a tea enthusiast, or even a chocolate lover.

In the mention of the owner, named after himself is the Pasta Eduardo (Php 165) which is an ultra creamy pasta topped with crispy sun-dried fish flakes, boasting a blend of sweet and salty flavors that is no doubt a delight.

Next to that is of course a dish named after the wife of Eduardo and that is the Pasta Maria Ana (Php 165). This one is another pasta dish that is of smoked milkfish flakes in fresh tomatoes, capers, black olives, and extra virgin olive oil.

Another pasta dish that is a must-try is the Pesto Fusilli (Php 155). This one is homemade using orgnic sweet basil, pine nuts, garlic, and extra virgin olive oil, and topped with black sesame seeds for that oriental twist!

For more eats that you sure are to enjoy, better try out their fajitas that are of flavorful exotic spices with generous fresh onions and bell pepper making their home-cooked version a real treat. The Sukiyaki-Cut Beef Fajita (Php 165), the Chicken Fajita (Php 155), and the 3-Mushroom Melt Fajita (Php 155) are of handcrafted pocket pitas that you should not miss out on.

Other than yummy, filling dishes, Dark Cacao & Coffee also has a bunch of pastries made by the owner’s very own homebaker. That being said, you might want to start with a few of their savory pastries such as their empanadas that come in three variants: the Mushroom Empanada (Php 65), the Chicken Herbed Empanada (Php 65), and the Tuna Empanada (Php 65) are lovingly made by a group of moms in Tagaytay so you know these ones are cooked with heart.
Of course, after gobbling down savories, head onto their sweets which are their oh-so-delectable cakes such as their New York Cheesecake (Php 275) which is thick, creamy, and cheesy; their German Chocolate Cake (Php 125) which is moist, luscious, and topped with coconut caramel; their Red Velvet Cake (Php 145) which any red velvet lover will fall in love with, and their Rock Salted Chocolate Cake (Php 135) which is just downright taste buds pleaser and sweet spot hitter!
Dark Cacao & Coffee may just be turning two this year, but you would not be able to deny the fact that they have a great line of food that would be great for people looking for not only scrumptious ones, but actually satisfying as well, so better check them out, drop by, and order yourself some of their delicacies!
