



We got to dine with 102 Izakaya in their Valero branch, so hearing about their branch at Top of the Glo had us all excited to dine with them again – afterall, we love Japanese cuisine! Like their Valero branch, 102 Izakaya is a great drinking and dining place and we know we really are going to have a good time with them as their food are really top-notch! Their Top of the Glo branch is more of a restaurant x bar set up, really emulating that izakaya vibe they obviously are going for. This branch is also bigger than their Valero branch, giving their diners more space plus they have exclusive dishes for this one as well, so really we were so pumped up!



102 Izakaya has a lot on their pipeline and we are so excited for them to bring those to their diners soon this year! Anyway, as we are already here, we might as well walk you through to some – new ones, bestsellers, and even to-be-released ones – of their delicious dishes that you should be able to try as well.

We started with a new dish of 102 Izakaya called the Maguro Pizza (Php 265) which is a house special and is actually not a pizza, but a play on one. Made with tuna sashimi, cherry tomatoes, olives, and pita bread, this new and exclusive item has that kick of spice that would easily get you hooked.








And if you are ready to rock and roll, of course, they have some rolls for you to dig into, too! Their Kani Tamago Aburi Sushi (3pcs Php 195) which is a bestseller sporting both sweet and savory flavors; their Surf n Turf Maki (Php 420) which is a house special, a new and exclusive item, and a Chef’s recommendation is of beef bacon teriyaki roll and 2 crispy fried shrimps; their Spider Maki (Php 355) which is another Chef’s recommendation and is of soft shell crab tempura with cream cheese; and their Edo San Special (Php 450) which is a house special and is of anago, crab stick, cucumber, ebiko, cream with cheese are just a few of their drool-worthy yummies you would regret missing out on.





After having quite a few rolls, reach out for some meatier options like their Yakitori Platter (8pcs Php 335) which is a delectable plate of chicken thigh, liver, gizzard, skin, pork, bacon and quail egg, umami corn, fish tofu; their Beef Usuyaki (Php 385) which is a bestseller and is of rolled beef stuffed with shiitake and bacon; and their Spicy Tori Karaage (Php 195) which also is a bestseller as this one is of Japanese fried chicken with spicy sauce!

As mentioned, 102 Izakaya – Top of the Glo branch is working on a lot of surprises and we got a taste of of one! Their Okonomiyaki Salad is yet to be released that its name is not even official at the time we were with them. This one is such a lovely addition to their selection of already scrumptious appetizers, so you better watch out for this one this year, alongside their offering of live cooking of teppanyaki – such fun, for sure!
