It’s such an exciting time for Sunlight Ecotourism Resort, specially food-wise. When we were there months ago, we found out they are revamping a lot of of their dining options’ menu. One of those dining options is their all-day dining restaurant called Island Garden Restaurant.
Island Garden Restaurant is big on putting the spotlight on international cuisine. Truly, they want their diners to have a feast of different dishes from all around the world. It’s like having their diners take a flight without riding a plane, but instead dig into plates of luscious food that can only be indulged in the island.

With that, we are so happy and honored to be one of the firsts, if not the first, to have tried a few of Island Garden Restaurant’s new menu additions. We began our flight of flavors with their Marinara de Nero which is thin crust seafood pizza made with squid ink, and then topped with shrimp and sun-dried tomatoes. To say this one was tasty is definitely an understatement!

We followed that one with their Bomba ala Barcelona. This one is our ultimate favorite out of this bunch! A serving of potato balls with a scrumptious surprise inside that is made with meat, onion, and cheese, and then served alongside thinly sliced potato fries, plus has chili oil and hot sauce too? There is no other answer to that but “Yes, please!”.

Next to that was their Tenderloin Tips which is a plateful of breaded meat strips with vinegar on the side, giving us that sour punch we undeniably adore. We paired that one with their sumptuous servings of Lasagna that are layers of cheese, meat, sauce, and lasagna pasta. This dish is one cheesy madness, that’s for sure!

Once we were done with all the savories, we then moved onto a few of their latest desserts. Their Tiramisu, Calamansi Cheesecake, as well as Mango Fruit Cake were splendid meal enders! They were more than just a wonderful sweet kiss to end our flight of flavors with!
Don’t miss out on these delicious choices you can only enjoy at Sunlight Ecotourism Island Resort’s very own Island Garden Restaurant. Know more of what you could indulge in by visiting Sunlight Ecotourism Island Resort’s Facebook, Instagram, and Website.
