Christmas Ham has always been a must in our Noche Buena. We just absolutely love its sweet and savory tones blending together and teasing our taste buds into going for more. That said, we think you already know where this is going, right? To the kitchen! To be able to devour our Pork Belly Ham, of course, we have to prep for it and cook it first, so make sure you got your all prepped and ready too. We opted to go for two slabs of pork belly because we just can’t get enough of it! To achieve that sweet and savory goodness, we did a mixture of salt, brown sugar, cracked pepper, paprika, and curine salt; coat the meat in that, and then refrigerate it for two to three days so that all the flavors would really seep into the meat. After that, we washed the meat thoroughly, place it in a casserole with pineapple juice, star anise, cinnamon bark, and brown sugar; then boil it for a time.

Meanwhile, for its galze, we decided to make the classic Honey Glaze by combining mustard, honey, and soy sauce. We then brushed our Pork Belly with the Honey Glaze we also did, and then cookied it in our air fryer. We were so excited because our kitchen smelled like Christmas by this time!

When it was done, we took out our Pork Belly Ham from our air fryer, put sugar on top of each, and then torch them so as to caramelize the sugar. Yum yum yum! The urge to just devour this thing was immense; good thing we were still able to slice them up real nice and good before having the time of our lives with it.
