Filipinos are a huge lover of food. In fact, every where you go now there are several food stalls, restaurant, food parks to choose from. Most Filipinos are adventurous when it comes to food, they’re not afraid to try something new. With that said.. Let me introduce to you; Beiruti Bite Express – your to-go express for your Lebanese dish cravings. It is owned by an Egyptian-Lebanese; Saad Aggag. Who made sure that what they’re serving would definitely pass everyones’ taste buds.

Cheese Saj – 75php

They also offer Beef Saj but I personally like their Cheese Saj. It looks likes a normal Quesadilla that we’re most familiar of but this one has a stronger taste.

Beef Shawarma – 59php

 

Chicken Shawarma – 55php

The ever so famous Shawarma. It had been one of the Filipino’s favorite. The difference of Beiruti’s shawarma is that the beef and chicken that is used is different from what we’re used to. I was amazed with how different the beef and chicken I’m used to see from other restaurant/stores that offers shawarma, to what Beiruti uses.

Hummus – 49php

Not everyone is familiar with what Hummus is; It is a Levantine dip or spread made from cooked, mashed chickpeas, blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic. It is usually used as an appetizer or a dip like what I did at Beiruti.

Falafel Sandwich – 59php

Falafel is known as fast food or street food in the Middle East and this one here is part of the vegetarian menu. This one is so tasty and very healthy since it’s topped of deep-fried chickpea with vegetables and signature spices. You may pair it up with their tahini, garlic or chili sauce. In my case, I tried the tahini and chili sauce. This is definitely a must try!

Minted Lemonade Shake & Rosey Minted Shake – 50php

 

Both of them were flavorful. It’s a shake that’s blended with mint leaves and fresh lemonade. I personally like the Minty Lemonade Shake compared to the Rosey Minted Shake but both are worth trying.

There you go. I definitely suggest everyone to try everything on the list. They also offer rice meals. Everything on their menu is a must try and it’s something that won’t hurt your pocket but would give you satisfaction.
