Delicatessen – an establishment that sells imported ready-to-eat food products, cold cuts and cheeses. That’s what normally comes to mind when we think about such place, but in Brera Deli, there’s more to them than just an average store of Deli products.

Situated in the Molito Lifestyle Building, Molito Alabang. This new joint is a haven for all those meat and wine lovers of the south.

My initial reaction upon stepping in was that I felt like I was immediately transported to Europe.  From the brick styled walls, to the meats hanging over your head and the counters that are full of cheeses, wines and huge selections of meats. They even have an open section wherein they cook your meat or steak in front of you. Looks cool right?

If you’re the type of person whose keen in details, it will literally takes you probably more than an hour to explore the place and you will absolutely be amazed by the huge choices and selections laid out in front of you.

From the counters that are overflowing with imported products and to the shelves with tons of foreign goods.

I never really knew that there are tons of cheeses to choose from, not until I saw them here at Brera Delicatessen.

But what proves to be interesting is the fact  that you can be at this place not only for grocery shopping but also for a relaxing evening of dining.

I have always been a fan of cheese. So I grabbed the chance to try their Italian platter to sample out some of their well known cheeses.

Since there were also coffee on the menu, I couldn’t resist the urge to try theirs.

Served in the cutest and littlest cup is their version of Caffe Mocha. It’s the smallest cup of coffee I have ever tried but yet the aroma and the flavor is comparable to the regular cup of coffee that you will get from the typical coffee shops.

So what makes Brera Delicatessen different from others is the simple reason that you can shop, dine and spend intimate quality time with your friends and family.  They have the European vibe and ambiance not only because foreigners flock and hangs out at this place but also because of the lovely interiors, the cozy and classy style of the restaurant and the warm and friendly staffs and  crews managing and taking care of the whole joint.

For the foodies, they will definitely appreciate the very extensive menu that they offer. They have appetizers, Australian steaks and chops, pasta, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and sausages. They also have coffee, tea, smoothies and a wide selection of wine to choose from if you want to include a glass of wine on  your dining experience.

It truly is, a unique dining experience for me as I get to feel the warmth of the place and get to taste their amazing menu. Will surely drop by again soon to try their other offerings.
