If you are looking for a restaurant that serves good steak or ribs that would fit your budget, then Casa Verde would be your next go-to place for that, if it isn’t already. Having a warm, cozy environment with comfy chairs and dim lighting, no one is going to judge you if you are to pop that jean button of yours as long as it is because your tummy needs more space.

I have eaten at Casa Verde with some of my high school friends way back our college years, but that was in UP Town Center and I could say we really loved their ribs. With that first Casa Verde dining experience not being a flop, having to try out this another branch of theirs, which will be found in Megamall, is something I am really looking forward to.

Hot off the grill, Casa Verde first served their Raffitas which you can choose whether you want beef, chicken, or a combination of both. As all raffitas are served with fajita vegetables, these are served with warm tortillas, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese & sour cream.

Next was the Roasted Seasoned Chicken which is a chicken quarter spiced with Casa Verde’s secret seasoning, roasted and served with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. I loved how tasty the chicken was, how crunchy the veggies were, plus having mashed potatoes which is a fave of mine on my plate was surely a delight.

After that the Brian’s Ribs which actually is not only a personal favorite, but one of Casa Verde’s favorites as well was placed on the table. This hard-to-forget ribs is a bestseller as this one is a serving of baked pork ribs with a sweet, tangy piquet sauce, served with rice, and corn & carrots.

Another meaty dish was the David Dean’s Tenderloin which is a single USDA steak on top of a mound of mashed potatoes and topped with cheese, and served not only with brown sauce, but also garnished with fried onions and roasted almonds that add an aromatic dash to the dish.

For a simpler dish to eat, but absolutely delicious nonetheless, the Southwest Sampler is the one that would give you that spiced punch of flavor as this one comes with chicken quesadillas, southwest eggrolls, and ultimate blazing nachos which are crispy whitecorn tortilla chips topped with meat sauce, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, jalapeno, and melted cheese.

If you are feeling like you want to have some pasta, the Southwest Pasta would be a good choice. Served with marinated chicken breast over penne pasta, mixed with alfredo sauce, bell peppers & onions, this one is definitely a must try!

Following that is something that is perfect for people who want to have everything – the Casa Verde Burger has everything on it: from tomatoes, to onions, to American cheese, to lettuce, and down to some honey mustard dressing.

Placing a beautiful cap over this another wonderful meal time, Casa Verde served their Bliss O’ Berry which was really a blissful delicacy as this one is a homemade ice cream based cheesecake paired with strawberry compote.

As expected, Casa Verde, once again, did not disappoint! With flavorful dishes that come in generous servings, dining here is really worthwhile especially if that is to be experienced with people who are dear to you, just like how mine went really well with both my friends and family.
