Catch the Sunday Brunch 2.0 Finale of the Marriott Café

The successful Marriott Café Sunday Brunch 2.0 has launched a hundred appetites, with many Manila foodies enjoying the wonderful spread prepared by the Marriott chefs that included some of the finest dining choices in the country. It is the Marriott Hotel Manila’s biggest buffet yet, combining exquisite selections from the Marriott Cafe, the prime dishes of Cru Steakhouse, and the international flavors of the Greatroom in one grand feast.

As the year comes to a close, the Marriott Café will hold the grand finale of its Sunday Brunch 2.0 promotion on December 1, as diners can have their early holiday treats of live crabs, prime steaks, roast pig carvings, grilled specialties, cheeses and charcuterie, and the best of international cuisine that ranges from Japanese, Chinese, and Indian, together with Filipino favorites all served with overflowing drinks and spirits.

Appetizers and Mains

The Marriott Café goes all out on its last Sunday Brunch 2.0 promo, starting with the Greatroom’s premium grazing table filled with an array of cheeses and cold cuts. Here, guests can nibble on creamy Brie and savory prosciutto, to pair with a glass of red or white wine. The seafood bar offers the freshest picks, cooked to perfection by the chefs, with headliners like garlic butter prawns or an extravagant curacha with an oozing alavar sauce.  The Greatroom also features an assortment of local delicacies to satisfy Pinoy cravings for piaya, bibingka, pili tart, peanut kisses, and more. Samalamig or coolers like sago’t gulaman, buko pandan, melon juice, and mango sago are also available to evoke childhood memories.

The extensive brunch menu covers a lot of cuisines ranging from Filipino, Chinese, Indian and Italian, so diners can have their fill of their dish preferences ranging from paella to pasta, tempura and paneer. There is even a dedicated salmon bar where one can dig into different salmon dishes including classic smoked and Nordic gravlax. Seafood lovers will be happy to note that the Barrels of the Sea section offers sustainable seafood, so serving of crab meat, flaky baramundi fillet, and crispy fried grouper is environment-friendly.

For those who want the “Turf” along with the “Surf”, Cru Steakhouse has prime meats that include the best US Angus steaks and lechon with gloriously crispy skin.  These go well with Cru’s signature black truffle risotto and their twice baked cheddar cheese potato. Wine selections are also available to complement the choice meats.

Desserts and loads of fun

To cap the meal, the Marriott Café Sunday Brunch 2.0 also features the best desserts, from decadent cakes to creamy homemade gelato. Choco-lovers can also find an assortment of Swiss chocolates in bars and truffles with nuts, nougat, or dried fruits among the dessert selections.

Kids will also enjoy the activities lined up at the last leg of the Marriott Café’s Sunday Brunch 2.0, as they get to decorate their own pancakes, and enjoy spellbinding acts from a roving magician, along with free gifts and special surprises from the friendly Marriott staff.
