Celebrate more than just good times with Cazuela Spanish Colonial Cuisine!

We just cannot keep it to ourselves when something is really good, especially when it comes to food! If you have ever been in Ortigas and have not tried Cazuela yet, then what are you really doing with your life? Just kidding, we just want to put emphasis on how much we love eating at Cazuela, and so we invited our friends over, had a bit of catch up, all the while munching on some Cazuela faves you really should not miss out on as well!

Highlighting Filipino cuisine inspired by the Spanish colonization, Cazuela cooks for their diners just like how they cook at home, so you sure are to feel comfy and homey with a dash of fabulous-ness in every mouthful, especially as this one is a family concept – some of their recipes are even of their grandmother’s.

Anyway, enough chit-chat and let’s go more on eat up! Their Orange And Crispy Duck Salad (Php 256) is of assorted greens, shredded crispy duck, cashew nuts, and kesong puti tossed in citrus vinaigrette and it is such a great dish to start with!

Tacos De Lengua (Php 180)
Escalivada (Php 199)

And to not flood Cazuela with your drool, do not be shy and dig into a ton of their Tapas, also known as Appetizers, such as their Tacos De Lengua (Php 180) which is of braised ox tongue on homemade flour tortilla topped with pico de gallo, white cheese, cabbage, and pickled shallots; their Trio Ceviche (Php 229) which is of ceviche shrimp, baby squid, and tuna; their Escalivada (Php 199) which is of a vegetarian-friendly dish of roasted eggplant, zucchini, peppers and onions in olive oil, served on grilled bread; and their Beef Salpicao (Php 350) which is of garlicky beef tenderloin, sauteed in olive oil, sporting a mildly spicy taste.

Gambas Al Ajillo (Php 328)
Pollo Pinchos (Php 235)
Tabla de Longganizas (Php 395)

Delighting more into their appetizers, go for their Gambas Al Ajillo (Php 328) which is a best-selling dish of fresh shrimps, sauteed in olive oil and garlic; their Pollo Pinchos (Php 235) which is of grilled chicken, served with flour tortilla; and their Tabla de Longganizas (Php 395) which is a trio of home-made sausages (garlic, spicy, and hamonado) and marinated cheese served with flour tortilla.

For heavier options, we recommend you try Cazuela’s pasta dishes like their Pasta Negra (Php 278) which is of squid, mussels, manila clams, and shrimps in squid ink or their seafood mains like their Seafood ala Havana (Php 305) which is of cuban-style shrimp, manila clams and squid cooked in coconut cream, served with rice.

Callos (Php 389)
Lengua (Php 415)
Braised Beef con Vino y Xocolate (Php 475)

Other than those, you could extend your arm and reach for their meaty mains like their Callos (Php 389) which actually is an old family recipe of ox tripe, pork trotter, and tendon, stewed in rich tomato sauce, served with rice; their Lengua (Php 415) a classic dish of ox tongue simmered in creamy mushroom sauce, served with rice; and their Braised Beef con Vino y Xocolate (Php 475) which is a crowd favorite and is of braised angus shortribs in rich red wine and chocolate sauce.

Kesong Puti Cheesecake (Php 220)
Tablea Chocolate Cake (Php 160)

And of course, to make this dining experience with our friends even sweeter and more special than it already us, Cazuela has gotten us wrapped around their love by serving their Churros con Chocolate (Php 150) which is a serving of stacked churros drizzled with sugar and cinnamon alongside chocolate dip and salted egg caramel; their Kesong Puti Cheesecake (Php 220); their Gypsy Cake (Php 160); and their Tablea Chocolate Cake (Php 160) that are all drool-worthy and absolutely luscious.
