Long before there were 8 Cuts Burger Blends, Zarks Burgers and etc., Charlie’s Grind and Grill burgers were the talk of the town first and everyone’s favorite burger restaurant. They have undeniably secured the spot for being one the best burger joints here in the Metro.
Because of this, they have established their customer base all throughout the years effortlessly. And we were more than ecstatic, when Koichi invited us to try their menu.
Charlie’s Grind and Grill has three successful branches within the Metro but we decided to visit their Legaspi, Makati Branch, mainly because it’s the most accessible one.
Upon entering, I could’t help but to appreciate the big graffiti that they have on their wall. To our surprise, the place was quite packed even on a Sunday night.
We like how their Menu Board is so old school. We just wish there were pictures on it.
They offer wide range of beers as you can see on their refrigerator, sitting in front of everyone to see and easily grab.
Koichi asked us what we wanted to try on their menu but since it was our first time, we let him decide.
So he decided to serve their milkshake first. I have always loved milkshake and Charlie’s Strawberry Milkshake will definitely be added to my favorite list. It was very creamy, milky and with just the right amount of sweetness that we love on this yummy treat.
Then, we tried their Black Angus Cheeseburger. The juiciness and meatiness will truly be tasted in every bite. Adding the cheese, lettuce and tomato produced more flavor. Did I mentioned that we also love its bun?
Next up, the Charlie’s Chicago, which is a bacon wrapped sausage sandwich. We just love how the combination of sliced tomatoes, pickle relish and onion complemented the sausage and the bacon. It was really very scrumptious.
I was very excited when he served us their Buffalo Wings for I am such a big chicken wings eater. The crunchiness and spicy flavor of their wings was such a joy in my heart. I’m like a kid who got her favorite treat.
Lastly, we tried their House Fries. It’s one of the cheesiest, softest and spiciest fries we have ever tasted and we absolutely like it.
