Chicken Adobo sa Gata Recipe

Ingredients
 5 thigh parts of chicken
 2 and 1/2 cup of coconut milk
 7 cloves of garlic, minced
 1 whole onion, minced
 3 pieces of laurel leaves
 1 tsp salt
 ½ tsp ground pepper
 5 tbsp vinegar
 5 tbsp soysauce
 5 pieces of red chilis, sliced
 2 stalks of green onion, sliced
 2 tbsp brown sugar

Directions

Saute' garlic and onion until light brown. Add the chicken, laurel leaves, salt and mix well.

Add ground pepper, soysauce and vinegar. Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes, then mix.

Add brown sugar, coconut milk and red chilis. Let it simmer again for another 3-5 minutes.

Add coconut milk again to thicken the broth. Then, add green onions and mix.

Serve hot in a bowl and enjoy!
