Whatever time of day is, may it be morning, noon, or night, you guys know we are always down to have a good time, especially when what you mean by a good time is a good meal. We just love eating! We love eating so much that food has been the center of our lives for the past years.
However, even though food really has taken over our lives, we still surely have control over it, because we still get to have the time to actually prepare and cook our favorite classics — even though we are usually rushing in the morning. “What do you mean?”, you may be wondering. Well, we love starting our day with a heavy breakfast that would somehow remind us of our childhood home. There’s just really something heartwarming and endearing to going back to simpler times.

With that and our love for wonderful starters, we then decided to have Daing na Bangus Belly for today! This dish is a splendid kickstarter as the freshness of the fish adds a really good morning element to our day. Pairing this with sunny side up eggs and steamed white rice is also a total plus for us.

As the star of this breakfast plate is none other than the Daing na Bangus Belly, you might be thinking what we have done to it to make it extra tasty! Our secret? We had it marinated overnight. Yes, we really did marinate it overnight so that the marinade’s flavor would seep into the belly hence making our dish really flavorful even without a dip.
Curious as to what our marinade was made of? Well, no need to pressure us into giving it to you, because we made a whole video on how we made this Daing na Bangus Belly for our breakfast!
