It’s been two years since; and so it’s safe to say that we have been thinking and dreaming about Don Cochinillo for years already. We got a taste of their rave-worthy Cochinillo two years ago, back when they just started yet, and so here we are two years after, still crazy for that exact dish still.
When we got a taste of the goodness of Don Cochinillo two years ago, we instantly knew that a lot of people would get hooked with them, because that’s positively the effect it had on us. Indeed, their Cochinillo has been a star of many celebrations and has turned many regular days into a feast like no other.
Their Cuban Roasted Cochinillo (5.5 to 6kg Php 9500) is such a scene-stealer. With its tender and juicy meat plus uber crispy skin, it is really not surprising that Don Cochinillo has established their claim over Filipino hearts, palates, and tummies. As we have mentioned, their Cochinillo is perfect for special occasions or even when you are just craving for it. Indeed, indulging in some luscious Cochinillo is possible regardless if there is something to celebrate or not. We mean, having some of it is already a celebration in its own, right?
That said, as we have been craving for it for a really long time already (seriously, we can’t believe it has been two years since we had one!), we made sure to snatch one and delight in it as much as we could. Much to our happiness, Don Cochinillo was able to deliver once again more than what we have expected. Having their Cochinillo is really a one-of-a-kind experience that when we got a bite of it, we felt like it was our first time to have it again.
Don Cochinillo continues to bring their A-game when it comes to their Cochinillo and them claiming their spot as the #TheMostMalutong is something that they really take seriously! Having said that, enjoying their Cochinillo for the second time really more than satisfied our cravings that we are honestly looking forward to having it again already.
