We have been to Hukad Kafe before and let us just tell you: it was a feast! It was that one time we were at Ayala Malls by the Bay and we definitely were greeted with warmth and served with endless plates and bowls of delicious food we could not resist, alongside refreshing beverages that kept us energized.
Since we had an excellent time with them, we made sure to check them out again when we were in Cebu. We just could not stop thinking about all the tasty dishes they served us before so when we found out they have presence in Cebu too, we did not pass up on the opportunity to have another go with them.
As much as we wanted to enjoy the dishes that got our hearts last time, we were undeniably also looking forward to getting our hands on their other offerings, and so that was what we did! We first got our hands on a number of their pasta dishes since we were not able to try those last time.

Their Mac and Cheese (Php 265), Adobo Pasta (Php 219), and Bicol Express Pasta (Php 279) undeniably satisfied not only our curiosity, but also our taste buds and bellies. These pasta dishes have a good bite as their noodles were cooked well and also, each pasta dish has that classic Filipino flavor play which was truly a hit for us!

The next dishes we reached for was their Kare-Kare Sisig (Php 249) as well as their Lechon Sinigang (Php 320). Who knew these were all possible? We guess, Hukad Kafe knew, and now we do too! The combination of well-loved Filipino classic dishes into one scrumptious Hukad Kafe dish was certainly a win we would gladly take again and again, given the chance.
Undeniably, our palate craved for more Lechon goodness, thanks to their Lechon Sinigang dish. To give us what we have been drooling for, we were served both their Regular Lechon de Cebu and Spicy Lechon de Cebu that were boiled and stuffed with fresh herbs and spices, then slow roasted to perfection, which then resulted to a luscious serving of crispy skin and tender meat that were just so juicy and flavorful!

These two Lechon de Cebu variants are up for grabs in different serving sizes. Hukad Kafe has them in Full Slab (Php 2850) which us good for 10 to 12 people, in Half Slab (Php 1425) which is good for 8 to 10 people, and in Quarter Slab (Php 720) which is good for 6 to 8 people.

After having all those hearty dishes, we then proceeded to chomp down their delectable Ube Cheese Sandwich (Php 119) that was grilled to a point where both the ube and cheese have meshed so good together and the loaves have that certain lovely crunch every bite we took of it. A must-try, indeed!

Of course, we also did not let ourselves miss out on Hukad Kafe’s invigorating drinks! Since we already experienced some of their Agua Fresca drinks, we opted for their Shakes this time. Their Mango (Php 110), Watermelon (Php 110), Pineapple (Php 110), and Strawberry (Php 110) Shakes no doubt had us sipping and slurping delightfully! Each of these thirst-quenchers were a fun and yummy pairing to the dishes we devoured.
Snatch these reimagined classic comfort Filipino flavors only from Hukad Kafe! Drool over all of them as you can check them out on Facebook and Instagram.
