Filipino delicacies or South American dishes? No need to choose only one because Sobremesa is serving both!

At first glance, Sobremesa is great for group meals such as a lovely breakfast catch up with friends, a wonderful lunch out with colleagues, and a splendid dinner time with the family. Whatever amazing plan you have in mind and whoever you want to eat with, Sobremesa is ready to make it special with their great service, awesome food, and relaxing as well as beautiful space.

With dishes inspired from Filipino and South American – two different cultures that are combined together as both have some similarity when it comes to cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor, the goal of Sobremesa is not to be a fancy restaurant but a homey place where food can be enjoyed, alongside some much anticipated quality time with people dear to you.

Over some small talk, what is great is the Shrimp and Mango Salad (Php 295) which is a serving of grilled shrimp and ripe mangoes with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and bell peppers, together with sour cream and jalapeno vinaigrette.

After that, perfect for someone who has a big appetite, the Peruvian Spiced Chicken and Steak Combo (Php 1400) is a heavy plate of half Peruvian spiced chicken and your choice of steak rub with sweet corn fritters, mashed potato, or banana and corn salsa that is just so worth it.

Next to that is Sobremesa’s Pritchon (Php 2200) which is a platter of sliced conchinillo, home-made pita bread, corn salsa, tomato salsa, and different kinds of sauces – garlic mayo, patatim, red pepper sauce, chimichurri sauce, and jalapeno. If you are planning to indulge in this dish, then you should know that this exquisit food choice requires an advance order for you to enjoy; plus this one is best eaten in a flour tortilla wrapper.

Indulging into some of Sobremesa’s savory dishes will make your palate crave for some delectable desserts and that is just perfect because they have some amazing sweet treats; one of which is the Lecheroon (Php 200) which is a delicious fusion of a macaroon and a leche flan.

Another is the Mango, Coconut, and Almond Cheesecake (Php 230) which is a charming order of sweet mangoes topped on their signature cheesecake, drizzled with caramel sauce, coconut, and almonds, which gives this one some added crunch fun!

With a seating capacity for forty people inside and twenty-five outside, expect that Sobremesa’s menu is just loaded with all wonderful dishes that are actually inspired from the recipes of the mother of the owner.

From soup and salad, appetizer, pasta, chicken, steak, flatbread, mains, rice and sides, and of course desserts – Sobremesa has got it all covered. All you have to do is go there, sit down, and pick a food of your choice that definitely won’t disappoint!

Of course, with a jam-packed food menu comes with a bar list that would make you go cray-cray over sodas, coffee, smoothies, juices, beer, liquor, red wines, white wines, and of course cocktails which will all be an immaculate pair to whatever dish you got and would sure to treat your palate exquisitely.
