Filipino-style Corned Beef Spaghetti Recipe

Just like other cuisines, Filipino cuisine has its list of controversial food too. When we say controversial, what we mean is they are the kind of food that are well-loved by Filipinos or food that Filipinos have tweaked in accordance to the Filipino palate which sometimes get a pass from tourists or even a few Filipinos themselves. One dish on that list, we think, is the Filipino-style Spaghetti which we have actually shared our version of before.

However, that sweet flavor profile is also the very reason why others do not love it that much. If you are curious what makes Filipino-style Spaghetti sweet, then do know that it is all because of condensed milk. That’s right, condensed milk is an integral ingredient in making Filipino-style spaghetti not only because it is where the sweetness is coming from, but also it is what makes the sauce even thicker and richer.

Filipino-style Corned Beef Spaghetti

As we have already shared with you our version of Filipino-style Spaghetti and you guys were delighted with it, we have decided to introduce to you a different version of it. Say hello to Filipino-style Corned Beef Spaghetti! Other than its trademark sweet notes, Filipino-style Spaghetti is also known for being loaded with protein such as hotdogs, ground meat, and this time, corned beef as well!

Filipino-style Corned Beef Spaghetti

Our Filipino-style Corned Beef Spaghetti is absolutely packed with flavor and heaviness too so you will not only end up satisfied, but surely full and joyful too. Made with corned beef, hotdogs, whole mushroom, red and green bell peppers, carrots, and of course, spaghetti noodles, we are downright sure you will be leaving the dining table with a round belly. Of course, your taste buds will have a feast too, because our Filipino-style Corned Beef Spaghetti is also made with tomato sauce, pineapple juice, condensed milk, ground black pepper, salt, liver spread, cheese, onion, and garlic! All that combined is a promise of fullness and goodness we ought to keep in every forkful.

Filipino-style Corned Beef Spaghetti

Ingredients:
 10 garlic cloves
 3 onions
 1 tbsp salt
 ½ tsp ground black pepper
 1 cup cheese
 1 red bell pepper
 1 green bell pepper
 1 carrot
 400 g whole mushrooms
 380 g corned beef
 10 hotdogs
 1 kg spaghetti noodles
 1 kg sweet style tomato sauce
 300 ml condensed milk
 ½ cup pineapple juice
 25 g liver spread

Directions:

For the sauce, saute onion, garlic, corned beef, hotdogs, carrots, and mushrooms.

Add salt and ground black pepper. Saute.

Add liver spread. MIx.

Add sweet style spaghetti sauce. Mix.

Add red and green bell peppers. Mix.

Add pineapple juice. Mix.

Add cheese cubes. Mix.

Add condensed milk. Mix.

In a different casserole, add salt in boiling water.

Cook pasta as instructed in its package. Stir from time to time.

Once cooked, drain water.

Transfer cook spaghetti noodles to a serving dish.

Add the sweet style spaghetti sauce to the noodles.

Add more cheese onto it if preferred.
