Whenever we think of Chinese dishes most Filipinos would often think of Dimsums, Braised Beef, Sweet and Sour Pork and Noodle Soup. But there’s actually more on their menu that we should all be exploring to fulfill our Chinese dishes cravings.
One of the highlights of our recent staycation with Marco Polo Ortigas Hotel is our dinner at Lung-Hin. We got to enjoy finest Cantonese dishes that we have never tried before.
We honestly took the time to order as we can’t quite choose from their array of amazing dishes.
When we finally did, we started with Baked Barbecue Pork Bun which are so delightful. From the bun onto its filling inside, the taste is simply exquisite.
Followed by a dimsum of course, called Steam Shrimp Dumpling with Gold Leaf.
Then we tried this delicious noodle soup that I honestly can’t recall the name because I got so consume with its wondrous taste.
This is easily one of our favorite, their mouth-watering Roasted Pork Belly.
Still on the high of the salted egg madness, I couldn’t be any happier when I found this dish from their menu. The Stir Fried Squid with Mashed Salted Eggs and Seasonings. Its crispiness and salted egg taste is what makes it over the top.
A meal won’t be complete without a dessert, so we try their Chilled Mango Pudding.
Followed by Chilled Avocado Sago, which I like better because of the pure avocado taste.
It was really a dinner full of scrumptious and exquisite Cantonese dishes that was truly memorable for us. We would definitely be back to try their other great dishes.
