Five Things We Love About Manila Life Café

Did you know that there’s a relatively new café that opened in NAIA Terminal 3? It’s called Manila Life Café.

It’s a new addition to the booming restaurant scene of NAIA T3 where airline passengers can chill and wait for their flights comfortably. We have been invited to experience and try several items in this café and we’ve listed below all the things we love.

1. The ambiance is very Filipino.

From the huge photographs of the busy streets of Manila to the OPM songs playing in the background, it’s undeniable that Manila Life Café wants us to feel comfortable and proud of our homeland. We love the all the wall arts of the café specifically the black one with Metro Manila map. So cool!

We also like the rugged yet classy interiors of the place. There’s a communal table at the center of the café and it’s all complete with power outlets perfect for waiting passengers.

2. All the food are delicious.

We’ve sampled a lot during this visit and our favorite includes Manila Street Food Platter, Pork Sisig Tacos, and Manila Sunrise Plate.

We started our feast with a taste of the famous Manila street food – fishballs, chicken fritters, fried quail eggs. This set comes with sweet soy dip, spiced vinegar, and sweet and sour sauce. Everything is just so good!

The Pork Sisig Tacos came as a surprise. Each bite was heavenly with generous bits of crispy sisig. We can actually finish one serving in a minute! The Manila Sunrise Plate is their version of a Filipino big breakfast plate. It has longganisa, tocino, sunny side up egg, tomato-salted egg relish in a bowl of garlic rice. How nice it is to put all Filipno breakfast favorites in one plate, eh?

3. Price point is very affordable with generous servings.

We cannot argue how good their food is, but one may say that it’s because of its price. However when we saw how affordable all the food in the menu is, we were convinced that Manila Life Café will be our newest favorite tambayan in NAIA Terminal 3.

You don’t believe us? How about when we say that their Manila Sunrise Platter is just 290php? Their Pork Sisig Tacos is just 330php and their huge Sisig Rice Bowl is at 350php? Yes? Of course!!! All of these, in our opinion, can be shared by 2 people. Talk about hotel-quality food with affordable price tags.

4. There’s a private area for passengers to chill.

We all know that we have to arrive early in the airport to check in, validate our documents and tickets in preparation to our flights. We allot extra 2-3 hours before the boarding time. We usually use this time eating, drinking coffee, or catching up with friends and family.

Manila Life Café can be your new favorite waiting place as it has a private area inside the restaurant. It’s kind of hidden and has comfortable sofas. We also love the wall art there!

5. It is by Manila Marriott Hotel.

Manila Marriott Hotel is known for providing world-class service and elegance. Therefore knowing that Manila Life is operated by such trusted company made us appreciate the café more.

To top it all, Manila Marriott Hotel has a reception inside the café! Yes, their hotel guests can check in/out directly in the café. All the records are in sync with the hotel’s front lobby. Talk about innovative and good customer experience!
