Coming light, but leaving heavy – this one is a delicious promise from Empacho Restaurant x Bar, so if your goal is not only leaving satisfied, but actually full, Empacho Restaurant x Bar is the one for you. We mean, it is not called Empacho Restaurant x Bar for nothing!

With a space that is just of comfort and coziness, it is not a surprise that this dining place is a home to many people’s comfort food, especially Filipinos who are just undeniably foodies by heart.



Starting off with their Bar Chows, but starting big, nonetheless. No, really, starting big because their Chichawow (Php 260) will really have your jaws dropping as this one is a homemade, oversized chicharon with salt and vinegar powder, dipped with sinamak and pinakurat sauce. While their Trisaw (Php 350) is a hefty plate of chicken, pork, and beef intestine boiled with lemongrass and spices, grilled with a special sauce and dipped with sinamak and Empacho’s special sauce.


For more easy and delectable munchies, do not skip on their appetizers such as their Triple Bypass (Php 380) which is a hearty serving of crispy chicken skin, salt and pepper chicharon bulaklak, and isol inasal with 3 special sauces; their Spicy Tamarind Wings (Php 370) which is a fave as this one is of crispy wings in spicy tamarind sauce with fried chili; their Crispy Tokwa’t Baboy (Php 350) which is another packed with spice dish of theirs being of spicy chicharon bagnet and fried tofu with Empacho’s special sauce; and their Balut Tempura (Php 380) which is of tempura battered balut with micro arugula salad and salted egg aioli. Don’t get too stuffed, though, because we still are just at square one.

After having some appetizers, of course we are now onto their mains which are just downright drool-worthy. Sticking to Pinoy food, Empacho Restaurant x Bar is really making a tasty impact on the Filipino cuisine as they keep on innovating and leveling up the classics without losing touch from its roots such as their Crispy Pork Kare-Kare (Php 395) which is of spicy deep fried salted pork belly with Empacho’s annatto peanut sauce and bagoong, Sinigang na Lechon with Strawberry (Php 490) which is of Empacho’s lechon belly in tamarind and taro broth with strawberries, and Empacho’s Lechon Belly (Php 790) which is of crispy and juicy oven roasted marinated pork belly, stuffed with herbs and spices served with sinamak.


Other Empacho dishes that are of Filipino delicacies that have underwent a tasty makeover are Crispy Soft Shell Crab Pinakbet (Php 490) which is of mixed vegetables sautéed in shrimp paste and bagnet, topped with crispy soft shell crab; Empacho’s Crispy Sisig (Php 350) which is of crispy fried bagnet and pork ears seasoned with calamansi, chili, and spices, and Spicy Laing Carbonara Pasta (Php 390) which is of creamy spicy laing topped with crispy bagnet!
Aside from pasta for your much-loved carbs, your appetite will sure be pleased as you can have the Tinapa Rice (Php 65) which is of tinapa flakes topped with salted egg and tomato and the Guinamos Kalkag Rice (Php 75) which is of dried alamang and shrimp paste with a kick of sampaloc.


After having a lot of delectable, know that Empacho is not called Empacho Rectaurant x Bar without having some great tasting drinks as well such as Empacho’s Sago’t Gulaman (Php 90) which is a glass of home-made pandan muscovado arnibal with sago and pandan gulaman, topped with coconut water for that refreshing taste and Buko Smoothie (Php 130) which is a refreshing smoothie topped with roasted coconut perfect for any time of day.
Lastly, to make your night even brighter, do not hesitate having a glass or two of some good ole alcohol like their Flavored Beers (330ml Php 110 | 500ml Php 150) which comes in different flavors such as Chocolate Cookie, Green Apple, Watermelon, Caramel, Raspberry, Strawberry, Hazelnut, Lychee, Leche Flan, Calamnsi and their Cocktail Pitcher which you can get two variants of and those are Classic Mojito (Php 999) & Classic Sangria (Php 1599). Both served Empacho-sized meaning huge, perfect for the whole group (approximately 2L)!

Being able to try a ton of their dishes and yummy drinks is sure to have been etched in our minds especially we have always adored whatever it is they have served on our table.
