Garlic Butter Shrimp Recipe

If you ask us where we want to be right now and what we want to be having, then we only have one answer for you: On the beach enjoying a delicious feast of seafood! Seriously, we miss traveling so much, particularly visiting islands, swimming in the ocean, delighting in the sun, and of course, as we have mentioned, digging into a bunch of drool-worthy seafood. “What’s our favorite seafood?”, you might be wondering. Oh, wow, that’s one tough question to answer. To be honest, we love each and every seafood there is and we surely will get our hands on what we could have right now.

As that is the case, we went to the market earlier to be able to get the freshest seafood we could find – and lo and behold, we got ourselves some fresh shrimp! Obviously, shrimp is one of our favorite seafood. This one just has this certain pull that we could not resist so we make sure to not let a chance to have this pass. Usually though, when we are out island hopping, we go for grilled seafood since our rented boat has some grilling equipment on board, but since we are at home and we feel like going to a different direction than grilling, we decided to go for something luscious and sumptuous!

For today’s recipe, we decided to make use of the fresh shrimp we got from the market and cook the ever-loved Garlic Butter Shrimp! This recipe is the perfect balance of sweet and savory, don’t you agree? Aside from that, this dish is just the perfect recipe for us to make this rather typical day into something like a celebration – a celebration about finally having seafood again! Sounds silly but whatever, we are very much digging it!
