Garlic Mushroom Chicken Recipe

Believe it or not, there are a lot of dishes that you can make out of chicken and Garlic Mushroom Chicken is one of them! You all know how much we love a good saucy dish!

Apart from our Garlic Mushroom Chicken being delicious and is a breeze to make, this dish also goes well with a lot of other dishes. Believe it or not, this one is perfect with rice, but also, it is amazing over pasta and it’s also wonderful to be paired with some good ol’ tasty veggies! 

Garlic Mushroom Chicken

Ingredients
For the marinade:
 2 tbsp soy sauce
 10 calamansi
 ground black pepper to taste
For cooking:
 1 carrot (big)
 10 garlic cloves
 284 g whole mushroom
 mushroom brine
 4 tbsp butter
 ½ tbsp salt
 ½ cup all purpose cream
 ¼ tsp ground black pepper
 1 tbsp cornstarch
 broccoli for garnish (optional)

Directions:

Place chicken in a bowl, then pour soy sauce, calamansi juice, and ground black pepper. Mix well. Make sure each chicken piece is coated. Set aside.

Saute sliced garlic cloves until golden brown. Set aside.

Fry marinated chicken until lightly browned. Set aside.

Melt butter in the pan.

Sear carrots. Set aside.

Sear broccoli. Set aside.

Add more butter into pan.

Add chicken, then add cornstarch. Mix.

Add chicken marinade.

Add mushroom brine.

Add mushroom.

Cover the pan with its lid, then bring to a boil.

Check the chicken. Make sure all sides are cooked.

Cover the pan with its lid again. Simmer for a bit or until sauce thickens.

Add all purpose cream. Mix.

Add sauted garlic slices.
