It is time to add yet another quick and easy vegetable dish to our list of recipes. Undeniably, we are meat lovers, but we are fans of vegetables as well. We know how important it is to keep a balanced diet and vegetables provide our bodies nutrients that only they could deliver, after all. On top of vegetables being healthy, they are honestly delicious as well. We are telling you, you have got to give vegetables a chance and try them bit by bit because you will be surprised by how tasty they are. For starters, you can begin your vegetable journey with the dish we have for you today—Ginisang Repolyo.

Ginisang Repolyo, also known as Sauteed Cabbage, is a wonderful dish to have anytime, anywhere as this could be a viand for both lunch and dinner, paired with rice. You can have this dish purely with cabbage alone, but if you are not that ready for that kind of commitment yet, then do know that you can also add some protein into your Ginisang Repolyo dish.

Often times, pork is our go-to protein for our Ginisang Repolyo, but truth be told, you could go for something else if you prefer other options such as Chicken, beef, ground meat, shrimp and even the Filipino streetfood, squid balls, can be used. Honestly, whatever you choose to go with will turn out great as the fresh-sweetness of the cabbage will go well with the taste of your chosen protein alongside the savory goodness of the Ginisang Repolyo dish itself.

Certainly, once you get to try our Ginisang Repolyo recipe, you will be excited to try our other vegetable recipes as well such as our Ginisang Munggo and Gising Gising recipes, so we are telling you right now, don’t think twice and just start chopping those cabbages! You can thank us later!
