Sydney, Australia’s famous Harry’s Cafe De Wheels is now here in Manila to let Filipinos enjoy their great tasting pies, hotdogs and pasties. But they make more than just the great pies but also delicious poutine, chicken meal, milkshakes and desserts.
Started as a Caravan Cafe by its founder Harry Edwards. Harry’s Cafe De Wheels has been in the business for more than 70 years old in Australia.
It may look like a regular diner from the outside with its wooden table and seats but beyond all that are the comforting food on their menu waiting to be enjoyed.
Chick N’ Shroom – this pie is full of chunks of chicken meat cooked with fresh mushrooms and cream.
Harry’s Chicken with Harry’s Special Gravy – deeply fried and well marinated, crispy and definitely finger lickin good. Comes with pepper rice and special gravy which ultimately completes your meal experience.
Hotdog De Wheels – Harry’s signature offering which comes with Continential Viennese smoked Frankfurt served with Chilli con Carne, Sriracha, bell pepper and caramelized onion.
Fish Market – this snack which could also be a tasty meal is of battered Alaskan Pollock, freshly cut spuds and white sauce. Such a perfect option when you just want a light snack.
Hot Roast Roll – who knew steak could be so much better on a freshly baked bun because this Short Plate Steak with caramelized onion and bell pepper does.
Chicken Poppers – this battered chicken strips served with freshly cut spuds is such a delight.
Classic Beef Pie – one of their best sellers both here in and Australia, enclosed in a crispy and delicious crust is a chunky lean beef filling with Harry’s signature brown sauce.
