Don’t you guys love waking up to breakfast? Not literally to a breakfast in bed kind of thing (although that would be great too) but to cooked breakfast just teasing you to open your eyes, get up from the bed, sit in the dining hall, and just start your day with a delicious spread? Don’t you just love that? Because obviously, we do!
Our love for waking up early goes hand in hand with our love for breakfast, and we are absolutely not going to be embarrassed about it. Starting our day with a plateful of tasty treats has always been a sign of a wonderful day for us, so sure, sue us for loving breakfast way too much!
As much as we love breakfast, breakfast buffet is a whole other level for us. It’s every bit of breakfast choice you could think of and it’s right in front you—what more would you ask for, right? Well, for one thing we would be asking where we could sit because to be frank, we will be going for more than a single round of breakfast—and honestly, that was what happened when we stayed at Joy~Nostalg a few months back.
Joy~Nostalg really knows how to make our day right at the start of it. Their breakfast buffet is packed with sweets and savories that are glorious to wake up to. For starters, they have fruit juices to boost you up, but they also have coffee, hot chocolate, and tea upon request, if you prefer those.
If you are looking to pair your drink with something light, we suggest you visit their salad station. They have a variance of ready-made salad up for scoops, but you could definitely make your own mix too since they have salad ingredients served as well. Aside from that, you could also request for a bowl of noodles which you can customize and will be cooked right in front of you! Fun and yum, right?
Of course, they also have loads of breads you could reach for. They have croissants and danishes, alongside pandesals and loaves which you can pair with assorted cold cuts and cheeses or a variance of jams and spreads. Carbing it up first thing in the morning here at Joy~Nostalg, that’s for sure!
Besides these, they have also prepared some classic Filipino favorites such as Bibingka and Turon. However, if you are the type of person that just want something to munch on for breakfast, then go and grab some of their fresh and dried fruits, cereals, or even yogurts.
Contrary to starting out light, of course, Joy~Nostalg is also loaded with heavy breakfast options which are perfect for when you want a plateful of sumptuous choices to start your day with. They have the classic steamed white rice and garlic fried rice which you could pair with eggs, ham, and bacon, or you could also go with some of the savory viands they have prepared and cooked on that day.
No doubt, Joy~Nostalg’s breakfast spread is a wonderful reality we would gladly pause our dreams for. They have almost everything we want and we are just so glad and grateful to be able to fuel ourselves up with yummy food from their kitchen.
