We have already shared with you guys a lot of enjoyable and drool-worthy experiences waiting for you at NUSTAR Resort & Casino. We have given you the scoop on their Fina Restaurant, Fili Cafe, and Axis Bar. We have also teased you with their Xin Tian Di which is a Chinese Restaurant—and if you want more Asian deliciousness to delight on, then what we have for you today will surely entice you too!

Mott 32 is an homage to culture and culinary tradition, as their dishes are principally Chinese, with influences from Beijing and Szechuan, all the while embracing modern day techniques that are used in the kitchen. They are also all about highlighting the unique tastes that were discovered globally and can be indulged in through the flavors of their dishes.

Chef Lee Man Sing, the Executive Chef of Maximal Concepts, shared that they are able to consistently deliver the same quality of product and service across all branches by making sure that the ingredients they are using are not only sustainable and organic, but are also ethically sourced. With this, it is not a surprise that Mott 32 is well-loved and world-known.

NUSTAR Resort & Casino’s Mott 32 takes pride in carrying about 80% of the original dim selection, taking into consideration a bit of ingredient adjustments by utilizing what is locally available and accessible. That’s why they are able to offer and serve dim sum lunch four times a week to their diners, which we got to enjoy when we dined with them not that long ago.

To start, we first tickled our palate with their Shredded Peking Duck Salad with beetroot and crispy taro, all tossed in citrus truffle dressing; their Australian M9 Wagyu Beef that was cubed, stir-fried, and served in a lettuce cup with mustard oil; and their Cold Free-Range Chicken made flavorful with Szechuan peppercorns in chili sauce. These three appetizers really took our breaths away, and we just could not wait to dig into more of their offerings.

We mentioned earlier that they are carrying more than just half of their original dim sum menu, and of course, a few of those we were able to get our hands on. Their Hot and Sour Shanghainese Soup Dumpling with scallop and prawn, as well as their Iberico Pork Siu Mai with black truffle and soft quail egg stuffed inside were hands down scrumptious and irresistible.

Meanwhile, their Garoupa, Prawn, and Vegetable Dumpling with chopped chili; plus their Szechuan Style Minced Pork Dumpling with chili oil gave us that delectable punch of flavor in every mouthful. We just really love spicy food, that’s why!

Aside from those, we also found ourselves enjoying their Chicken, Prawn, Taro Coquette; as well as their Prawn and Asparagus Cheung Fun with crispy rice paper because these provided us not only a delicious experience, but also a fun texture-filled one. To have these was pure pleasure and satisfaction.

And of course, we indulged in all these with a generous serving of Mott 32’s must-try rice dish. Their Wok Fried Glutinous Rice with Japanese dried shrimp, crispy taro, and preserved sausage certainly deserved a spotlight of its own!

To tie this whole meal together on more than just a nice note, Mott 32 served us two of their must-try desserts! Their Fresh Mango and Coconut in Glutinous Rice Roll as well as their Sesame Chocolate Tart with lime and sea salt together with pine nuts were a lovely meal-ender.

We also got to enjoy all these savories and sweets by Mott 32 with a few of their thirst quenchers or what they call Mottails. We had their Jasmine Cooler which has lychee, Jasmine tea, and orange blossom in it; their Stonecutters which is a glass of passionfruit, miso honey, and lemon verbena tea; and their Mango Fizz which is a refreshing mix of mango, elderflower, clove, lime, and tonic.

Mott 32 really did put in the work in each and every dish and drink that came out of their kitchen and bar. They will no doubt provide you an exciting and satisfying time when you dine with them too. Know more about Mott 32 by visiting NUSTAR Resort & Casino’s Facebook, Instagram, and Website.
