Happy Niku literally just opened a few months back, having their soft opening back in February 2019, then officially doing their grand opening back in March, so really, it is all for you to call first dibs on almost everything.
With an extensive menu that is of a collaborative effort of the owner, of the chef, and of the staff, Happy Niku is happy to be serving more than just Japanese barbecue, but also Yakitori, Tempura and Maki, Side Dishes, Desserts, and a whole lot more for you to delight in.
Mentioning their offering of Yakitoris, which are a great pair to drinks and conversations, their Chicken Liver (Php 40), their Chicken Skin (Php 40), their Chicken Thigh (Php 45), and their Quail Egg (Php 45) are all packed with saucy flavor which will get you hooked in no time.
Having your palate pleasured just as you have only started will make you want for more of their dishes, so we know you are so going to love their selection of Tempura and Maki such as their Ebi Tempura Maki (Php 180), their California Maki (Php 170), their Ebi Tempura (Php 180), as well as their Kani Tempura (Php 150).

All those easy munchies would have you reaching for their ultimate offering which is no other than their Unlimited Japanese BBQ that is just right for your Jap cravings and your budget. For Php 399 per head you will be able to avail their Unli Pork Yakiniku for a minimum of two diners per table and for Php 499 (Php 449 summer promo) per head you will be able to avail their Unli Meat which is of pork and beef yakiniku with a minimum of two diners per table as well. And if you are feeling extra, you can opt for their Unli All selecrion for only Php 588 (Php 545 summer promo) per head with also a minimum of two diners per table.




If your thoughts are currently along the lines of what exactly are you going to get, well, let’s satisfy that curiosity of your, shall we? Happy Niku has Sliced Pork Belly (Php 270 ala carte), Sliced Pork Belly in Sweet & Spicy Sauce (Php 270 ala carte), Sliced Pork Belly in Teriyaki Sauce (Php 270 ala carte), and Sliced Pork Neck in Sweet Sesame Sauce (Php 270 ala carte) included in their Unli Pork Yakiniku Option.
Meanwhile, for their Unli Meat which is their Pork and Beef Yakiniku option, you will be getting all that is in their Unli Pork Yakiniku option together with Sliced Beef Short Plate (Php 295 ala carte), Sliced Beef Short Plate in Curry Sauce (Php 310 ala carte), Sliced Beef Short Plate in Japanese Steak Sauce (Php 295 ala carte), and Sliced Beef Short Plate in Teriyaki Sauce (Php 295 ala carte).
Lastly, for their Unli All Option, you will be having a sumptuous and lush feast of Happy Niku’s Pork Yakiniku selection, Beef Yakiniku selection, Yakitori selection, and of course, their Tempura and Maki selection as well.

All their Unlimited BBQ selections are served with unlimited iced tea, side dishes which you can also get in ala carte, soup, and rice upon order, so really you will be going home feeling happy and satisfied.
Just keep in mind that there is only one chosen option per group and that there is a strictly no sharing policy between tables. Also, leftovers and take outs are not allowed, and that they will be charging you Php 500 for leftover so order gradually to avoid food wastage and leftover charge. Besides those, a table can also order two meats at a time for a more fun and loaded dining experience.

Happy Niku also has a bunch of other Japanese dishes to adore such as their Chahan (Php 75) which was really one of the highlights on our visit. It was definitely a serving of a lip-smacking good rice bowl that should not be missed out on.

And of course, to end, Happy Niku gave a subtle kiss of sweetness which is their cold and luscious dessert, their Green Tea Ice Cream (Php 50) that is just of pure enjoyment.
