Jollibee Bistek Burger Steak: Newest Jolly Treat

Jollibee is known for its continuous innovation to satisfy every Filipino palate. In fact they launched an Adobo-inspired burger last year, and just recently they introduced a pie version of a classic Filipino favorite ube. So what’s next? It’s Jollibee Bistek Burger Steak.

Next to Adobo, Bistek is probably one dish that every Filipino loves. It is comprised of beef slices cooked in soy sauce, calamansi juice, pepper, and caramelized onions. It has a perfect balance of savory, sweet and sour that’s known to hit all the right spots.

Jollibee introduced Bistek Burger Steak as the fast-food giant believes that it will be popular among the Pinoys as it’s inspired by a well-loved Filipino dish. “Introducing this distinctly Pinoy twist to a classic favorite like Burger Steak is proof of Jollibee’s commitment to continuous product innovations and delivering new flavor profiles aligned with the Filipino palate,” said Mari Aldecoa, Jollibee Marketing Director for Core Products. “Our development team has worked tirelessly to ensure that this new offering packs all the goodness of Bistek, from the 100% beefy-linamnam patty to the savory-sour sauce and onion toppings.”

We had dibs in tasting this newest dish of Jollibee last Friday and we liked it. It truly tastes like bistek without being too sour. We love the caramelized onions on top as it well complemented the juicy and beefy patty. One order is really not enough as you’ll crave for more!
