Place chicken in a pot filled with water, add salt, then boil for 20 to 25 minutes.
After boiling, set aside the chicken.
Fill another pot with water and salt, then bring it to a boil.
Once it is boiling, cook elbow macaroni in it for 8 to 10 minutes; then set aside.

For the chicken, slice or shred it into small pieces.
