Make Lasting Memories at Coro Hotel’s Mezzo Food Hall

Coro Hotel really pampered us from head to toe. They surely did not miss out on satisfying each and every need of ours. From our tired bodies to our weary minds, Coro Hotel saw to it that we will once again feel rejuvenated – and that “in need of rejuvenation” included our palate. It is no secret that we see food as another way for us to treat ourselves. Eating our comfort food and our cravings is one of our favorite things to do to relax and reward ourselves from all the work we do, and so staying at Coro Hotel was definitely more than just a welcome reward, so to say.

Coro Hotel is a perfect place to create wonderful memories in. They are after all a destination that could provide your much-deserved food adventure! Currently, Coro Hotel has two dining spaces ready to lull you to satisfaction; one is their Coda Wet Bar which is their rooftop bar just right beside their gorgeous pool, and their Mezzo Food Hall which is an all-day dining restaurant perfect for friends and family to enjoy a delicious spread in.

Huevos Rancheros

As Mezzo Food Hall is the place-to-be to create unforgettable moments in, this is where we have decided to have our lunch when we were staying at Coro Hotel. For appetizers, their Huevos Rancheros (Php 400) was the one we went for as we have been craving for that distinct and delectable taste only a Mexican food can offer.  Made with tortilla chips, black beans, sunny side up egg, and salsa, having this first was certainly a good call as it has set us in the mood even more.

Roasted Rosemary Chicken

After that, we did not waste any time and just jumped right into some of their scrumptious mains. Their Roasted Rosemary Chicken (Php 650) had us making yummy noises, that’s for sure! Delicious roasted chicken served together with pumpkin puree, sauteed carrots, cauliflower, garlic, and mashed potatoes? Who’s going to even say no to this? Well, for one thing, definitely not us!

Pork Sinigang
Kare-Kare

Of course, since we are not here to miss out on a few FIlipino classics, don’t even be surprised that we got our hands on their Pork Sinigang, Pancit Bihon, and Kare-Kare too. Their Pork Sinigang (Php 450) certainly hit that spot for us as it has the right sourness to it; while their Kare-Kare (Php 650) also proved itself to be a top contender as well as this one has that combo of tender meat and fresh vegetables which made the whole experience even more heavenly by its rich peanut sauce that is downright irresistible.

Pancit Bihon

Tying that all up with none other than their Pancit Bihon (Php 650). This one may be a classic, but they really spruced it up when it came to presentation and serving! That said, this one was an oh-so-generous and oh-so-tasty plate of noodles, vegetables, eggs, shrimps, and even crispy and tender pork cuts! Yum, indeed!

Blueberry Cheesecake

Lastly, Coro Hotel certainly ended this affair with a bang! Aside from savories, they are also actually big on sweets, and if you are wondering which one or ones to get. We suggest you snatch some Blueberry Cheesecake (Php 250) for you to indulge in because this one is it! Although, if you want more, their New York Cheesecake (Php 250) is another delectable option you could go for or better yet, their Corallo Cake which is milky, moist, and is actually a Coro Special!

Mezzo Food Hall of Coro Hotel no doubt impressed us! From their plush seating and posh set-up to their mouthwatering food choices, they surely know how to tease and satisfy us in more ways than one.
