Marriott Manila’s Sunday Brunch 2.0 launches on Mother’s Day

Brunch doesn’t have to be limited to a plate of eggs Benedict, a bowl of fruits, and a flute of mimosa because it can also be about a perfectly seared US Angus steak or a succulent lobster drenched in lemon butter sauce. How about the crispy skin and juicy meat of lechon or maybe a pan of flavor-rich paella?

Marriott Manila is redefining the brunch experience with its Sunday Brunch 2.0, their biggest buffet feast yet! Launching on May 12, just in time for Mother’s Day, the hotel combines the exquisite selection of Marriott Cafe, the prime dishes of Cru Steakhouse, and the international flavors of Greatroom in one grand buffet.

Dive into flavorful dishes one after another made by the hotel’s award-wining chefs. The options are endless and will surely satisfy everyone, including the pickiest of eaters.

Start with Greatroom’s premium grazing table filled with an array of cheeses and cold cuts. Pair that creamy Brie and savory prosciutto with fresh fruits, nuts, jams, honey, crusty bread, and of course a glass of red or white wine.

Then head to the seafood bar where diners can find a premium selection of seafood. Marvel at the offerings while chefs in costume welcome everyone to dig into the freshly cooked seafood dishes. Diners can likewise request their preferred dish, cooked to order. Pick something simple like garlic butter prawns or something more extravagant like lobster Thermidor oozing with a creamy sauce and a satisfyingly cheesy crust.

The Greatroom will also have an assortment of local delicacies to fix random cravings of piaya, bibingka, pili tart, peanut kisses, and more. Or maybe something to quench one’s thirst with a variety of samalamig or coolers like sago’t gulaman, buko pandan, melon juice, and mango sago.

Moreover, for those craving for the smoky flavors of grilled food, the Greatroom also got that covered with an assortment of meats. Give into flavor-packed marinated pork belly; sweet, spicy, and tangy barbecue pork ribs; moist chicken thighs; briny tuna collar, among others.

Then, head to Marriott Cafe for a more impressive spread. As Marriott Manila’s all-day dining restaurant, its extensive menu covers a lot of cuisines from Filipino to Chinese to Indian to Italian. They even have their own salmon bar, dedicated to all things salmon, from the classic smoked to the Nordic gravlax. Just grab a bagel, spread some cream cheese, a cured salmon of choice, and top it off with salty capers and fresh dill.

Seafood lovers would truly enjoy the Barrels of the Sea, a section where diners can have their seafood the way they want. Marriott Manila is known for using sustainable seafood, so every bite of that crab meat, a serving of that flaky baramundi fillet, and a crispy portion of fried grouper is all guilt free.

Marriott Cafe also takes desserts seriously. They make decadent cakes and creamy gelato to perfection. But probably the restaurant’s best sweets are chocolates, different kinds of it. Choose from an assortment of Swiss chocolate in various forms like bars and truffles, with nuts, nougat, or dried fruits.

The buffet doesn’t stop there, however, because Cru Steakhouse is in charge of the carving station. When it comes to steak and everything meat, this restaurant is an expert. They serve only the best prime steaks like the US certified Angus beef. So expect perfectly cooked steak and ube flavorful and tender lechon with glorious crispy skin.

Pair those meats with Cru Steakhouse’s signature black truffle risotto or the twice baked cheddar cheese potato. Then choose from the wine selection to complete the meal.

Enjoy all the food while also getting entertained with the fun activities especially prepared for the guests. Kids can decorate their own pancakes with a variety of colorful frosting and toppings to give to mom or just to satisfy their sweet tooth.

Magicians will also roam the dining space to make the experience more extraordinary. There will also be someone handing out gifts and special surprises. Marriott Manila’s claw machine would entertain kids and adults alike.
