Masamirey Cove Resort welcomed us with a lovely poolside meal

After touring us around the resort and showing us our villa and room, Masamirey Cove Resort gave us some time to freshen up before serving our first meal from their in-house restaurant, Umbrella Tree Kitchen + Bar. Since they know that we had a long drive, around four hours or so, to give you an idea, we chose to have our first meal at our villa instead.

As that is the case, Masamirey Cove Resort prepared our first meal beside our private pool which, honestly, had us feeling special. We really appreciated that, plus, they even added an extra table so that we won’t feel cramped and we will have enough to dig into what their Umbrella Tree Kitchen + Bar have prepared for us.

Cheeseburger with Fries

Speaking of, we first had their Cheeseburger with Fries (Php 295) which was absolutely amazing! The patty in this burger was definitely meaty, the veggies were fresh, and the sauces really made the flavors of the whole burger pop. We also had fun munching on its fries on the side.

Alaminos Longganisa & Roasted Garlic Pizza

Meanwhile, their Alaminos Longganisa & Roasted Garlic Pizza (Php 340) got us going even more handsy than their Cheeseburger as this one got us drooling for more than just one slice. We really adored this pizza as this one has that delectable kick that we just find oh-so-irresistible.

Pancit Canton

Also, we found ourselves munching on two noodles-starred dishes which were both tasty! Their Pancit Canton (Php 395) is loaded with lechon kawali, shrimp, and julienned vegetables, while their Creamy Bagnet (Php 395) is a white sauce pasta that was generously topped with bagnet bacon and toasted breadcrumbs.

On top of all that, Masamirey Cove Resort’s Umbrella Tree Kitchen also provided us drinks to pair with our food. We got our hands on their Strawberry Iced Tea (Php 155) which is of strawberry, earl grey tea, and lemon; their Basil Lemonade (Php 160) which is of fresh lemon squeeze and basil; and their crowd favorite Calama-tea (Php 120) which is of  calamansi and ternate tea.
