The simple and straightforward facade of Midas Hotel and Casino will make you think that it’s your typical hotel next door. But true to its tagline of “surprisingly unexpected”, this hotel will surprise you of unexpected glamour and contemporary style. Strategically located along the majestic stretch of Roxas Boulevard, Midas Hotel and Casino is literally accessible and easy to find.

Upon stepping foot in their lobby you will be greeted with an artistic and cozy ambiance. The ground floor of the hotel is where their reception or guest services is, as well as it houses The Lobby Lounge.  As the name implies it’s the perfect spot to relax and just lounge while sipping your favorite cocktail. They also have live music entertainment every Friday and Saturday.

As soon as we’re in our room we couldn’t stop marveling at how spacious and luxurious it is. The contemporary design and interiors of our room is such a sight to behold and yet you feel that homey vibe all throughout.

 

But there’s no denying that comfort is also Midas Hotel’s key priority and you will undeniably feel its utmost importance as you plunge yourself in their big bath tub or their high tech toilet bowl. In which with just one press of a button, everything you need after peeing or relieving nature’s call will be taken cared of.

One great thing about the Midas Lobby is the fact that it houses the MYE Boutique where you can find high quality pieces and fashionable items that you might not be able to resist.  We’re sure that their Casino is also a sight to behold, but we didn’t have the courage to check it out as we weren’t feeling lucky at the time and was not in the mood to splurge.

So let’s talk about our favorite topic. The different restaurants and food that the Midas Hotel has to offer.

Let’s start with the Midas Cafe. This Cafe is an all-day dining restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet as well as palatable ala-carte dishes. Their menu ranges from Western cuisines to classic Filipino dishes with a modern twist.

Then they have their Japanese Restaurant called Yanagi Japanese Cuisine which is by the way included in our list of most-recommended Japanese Restaurant. They served exquisite and scrumptious Japanese dishes that you literally can’t resist.

After a long day, wouldn’t be nice to just lounge and chill as you cap off the night? Sunset Lounge can offer that and more with its panoramic view of the city’s skyline while enjoying a cocktail or two along with light bites.

Sunset Lounge’s drinks don’t just look gorgeous, but they’re very delicious too, and what I love about them the most is that it has the right amount of alcoholic kick. One drink is sure to get you wanting for more.
