Sarsa Kitchen is known for serving good Negrense food in prime locations in Metro Manila. It’s known for serving Sizzling Kansi, Chicken Inasal, Batchoy, and Isaw.
We’ve been fans of Sarsa ever since we first tried it in their Rockwell branch. We were also present during the launch of their new items such as Squid Pinangat and Negrense Sizzling Beef Rendang. Now that Sarsa has again new dishes to launch, we just had to be there for support.
Last week, Sarsa introduced their newest Batchoy bowls – Batchoy Ramen, Seafood Gata Batchoy, and Spicy Batchoy. Among these, our favorite is the latter as it’s so packed with flavors with spicy aftertaste. It’s made with sambal for that nice kick.
These bowls are made with Sarsa’s signature batchoy broth. The Batchoy Ramen has a thicker consistency with char siu, adobo flakes and tamago on top. The Seafood Batchoy on the other hand, is made with coconut milk for a richer and creamier finish.
Their Halo-Halo desserts were also launched that day. They have three variants such as Sarsa Original Halo-Halo, Mango Vanilla con Hielo, and Buko Pandan con Hielo.
We still liked their signature halo-halo the most as it’s topped with ube and leche flan. Their Buko Pandan con Hielo was good too with lots of coconut meat and pandan gulaman. The Mango Vanilla con Hielo is for mango lovers as it’s made with all sorts of mango – dried mango, mango gulaman, fresh mango bits. It’s topped with vanilla ice cream for a creamier texture.
Overall, we had an amazing lunch at Sarsa. Every visit here is just amazing.
P.S. All the new items in the menu are already available in all Sarsa branches.
