No need to worry about your nightlife in the island because SETIR’s Luna gotchu!

Sunset truly has a pull on us. We just love capping off our day with a gorgeous view of the sunset that reminds us of how we were able to spend yet another day with people dear to us and how we were able to do things that make us happy. Other than sunsets though, we do enjoy ending our day with a good meal and a few delicious drinks to top it all off.

That being said, Sunlight Ecotourism Island Resort did not think twice about giving us our hearts’ desires when we went to their Luna, one of their dining options that caters to people craving for a night life in the island, for dinner. Truly, the view from up there plus the food and drinks selection, alongside the service were altogether exquisite.

Shish Tawook

As we went there while the night was still young, of course, we made sure to fill our tummies up first with a few of their yummy dishes. We started with their Shish Tawook (Php 495). This one was a plateful of sliced homemade pita bread, chicken skewers, with a side of pickled cabbage and a yogurt dipping sauce. Undeniably, Luna gave us a strong start as we found ourselves finishing this one in a matter of minutes, just right in time for the next dish.

Kofta

For our next dish, what we had was their Kofta (Beef Php 530 | Lamb Php 565). This one was an easy favorite! This is Middle Eastern meatball made with ground meat together with onions, garlic, and spices, on a bed of rich, savory sauce that has a kick in every mouthful, and then a side of broccoli and pickled cabbage. This was so good that we still can’t stop thinking and talking about it until now!

Skinny Truffle Fries

Following that dish was a great pairing with our drinks as we finally decided to order a few while the night grew darker and deeper. Their Skinny Truffle Fries (Php 580) was a serving of thinly sliced potato fries sprinkled with cheese and topped with dollops of truffles. This was so munch-worthy and we could not even stop ourselves from reaching more of it until all we had was an empty plate.

While munching our way through our Skinny Truffle Fries, we were then served with our chosen cocktails as well. First was their Aphrodisia (Php 320) which is a beautiful drink made with tequila, sour mix, and cointreau. Next was their Eclipse (Php 480) which is a tall glass made with vodka, rhum, tequila, whisky, gin, and grenadine. Last, but definitely not the least was their High Tide (Php 280) which is an adorable drink in a stout glass made with whisky, sour mix, and agustura bitter. These three really made our night with Luna even more delightful and a hit!
