Northerns, listen up! Get your delicious noodle fun fix at Ukokkei Japan by Menzo~

Being able to dine once again with Ukokkei Japan by Menzo is absolutely something that is not only to be happy about, but to be grateful for as well. This second Ukokkei Japan by Menzo experience, though, is of their another branch which is in SM North and the space in this one is undeniably just right.

That being said, Ukokkei Japan by Menzo in SM North is designed simply, and at the same time elegantly, as the walls were pristine, the chairs were comfortable, the tables having the right space for the ordered dishes, and topping it all off with lighting that is setting the mood for the zone of nomnom.

As we have tried some of their dishes already, of course, this one is of their different dishes; starting with their Midori Ramen (Ramen Php 210 | Ajitama Php 250 | Chashu Php 280) which is of green bean and basil leaf with pork bone soup with a slight minty and healthy taste, alongside other fresh toppings.

Following that one up with two of their Special Ramen; one of which is the Special Shiro Chashu Ramen (Special Ramen Php 290 | Special Ajitama Ramen Php 320) which is Menzo’s signature tonkotsu broth made of rich pork bones that are cooked for fifteen hours with sesame paste bringing out all the rich flavors.

Another Special Ramen of Ukokkei Japan by Menzo is the Special Kuro Chashu Ramen (Special Ramen Php 290 | Special Ajitama Ramen Php 320) which is Menzo’s signature Kuro Mayu broth made of black sesame, sesame paste, and garlic. This one has a delicious smoky fragrant and is full of umami punch!

Next is another tasty noodle dish, but is not a ramen, as it is called Tonkotsu Shiro Classic Tsukemen (Regular Php 230 | Large Php 260) which is a hefty serving of noodles on a plate which is best eaten by taking some of it, dipping it into the soup that comes with it, and of course, delighting in every slurp of it.

If any of those noodle dishes is not your kind of carbs, do not fret because Ukokkei Japan by Menzo has some rice dishes that are worth every penny, for sure! Just like the Gyudon (Php 240) which is a hearty bowl of delicious rice, topped with a generous serving of tender, flavorful meat that has a dash of sweetness to it, together with some tasty egg.

As for their side dishes, they have two food offerings that are of chicken such as the Tori Karaage (Php 140) which is an order of deep fried chicken thighs that are a tease to the eyes and a party not only to the mouth, but to the tummy as well.

The other chicken side dish Ukokkei Japan by Menzo has is the Teba Karaage (Php 120) which is a delightful plate of deep fried chicken wings. This one is surely that crunch adventure that others have been looking for and many have been coming back to.

Lastly, for dessert, as nothing really has the guts to beat the classic, Ukokkei Japan by Menzo has a serving of Vanilla Ice Cream (Php 100) that has just the right amount of sweetness to it, as well as its coldness which won’t really hurt your teeth, but rather it will satisfy that sweet tooth .

Ukokkei Japan by Menzo has been opening and launching a lot of their branches around the country so be sure to check out any nearby establishments to you in order to enjoy first dibs on anything or even everything that is in their menu.
