Almost everyone loves chicken. It’s the perfect meat that will give you less calories and yet will pack you the protein that you need. Every part of a chicken is worth exploiting. From the thighs to the breast, to the legs and to the wings. But personally, I am a big fan of the chicken wings. Ever since my taste buds got exposed to the different flavors that a chicken wings can offer, I simply can’t resist not having one when it’s on the menu.
So when Nella invited us for to try Wingstop I definitely can’t passed up the opportunity to try America’s Favorite Wings.
With its spacious, modern and westernized interiors, one can definitely feel relax and comfortable navigating through this restaurant.
The Western vibe was boldly emphasized through the graffiti on the wall, TV’s at every corner and to the very details and designs of the whole space.
What’s fascinating for me is the fact that even the wall decors and art speaks of their dedication to providing the best flavored chicken wings.
Their menu on the other hand is quite simple and straightforward, which is how exactly a menu should be.
So on to the food part. We tried several of their classic wings and one tenders variant, two of their sides and of course, one of my favorite part – the desserts.
If you’re bored with the typical flavored fries, you might as well try their Cajun Fries. It’s smokey and spicy flavor will surely blow you away.
I’m a self-confessed sucker for Nachos so when I saw this as one of their item on the menu, I just couldn’t resist the urge of not trying it. Their Cheesy Salsa Nacho is indeed true to its name of being cheesy. Served with generous amount of cheese, flavorful salsa and crunchy tortillas, I must admit I wasn’t expecting it will be good since their main staples are chicken wings and not these nachos.
We tried their Lemon Pepper, Honey BBQ, Hickory Smoke BBQ, Hot Buffalo and Louisiana Rub. Among all of them, my personal favorites are Honey BBQ and Hickory Smoke BBQ because of its sweet and smokey flavor.
I love the Bleu Cheese dip that came with the Tenders. It really does brings out the flavor to the chickens meat.
So I playfully put all the wings, tenders and fries and that’s what I came up with.
We tried both their s’mores, vanilla and chocolate ice creams. I like their s’mores better than the ice cream because of the fact that there really wasn’t anything special with their ice creams. Their s’mores on the other hand was chewy, chocolatey and sweetened just the way I like it.
Overall, it was a worthwhile experience. We were happily assisted by these friendly crews, the food was great and the place was so relaxing and cozy. We would certainly drop by again at Wingstop when given the chance.
