As far as you guys can tell, our love for food is undeniable. Food for us goes beyond the bounds of it being a necessity. For years, our life have been wrapped up in food — eating them, enjoying them, sharing them, and talking about them. Indeed, we have tasted a lot, but a well-balanced, home cooked meal will always have a claim over us. We absolutely appreciate a meal that is flavorful, satisfying, and is complete already which means a dish that already has meat and veggies in it.
We are not the kind of people that chooses meat over vegetables or vice versa, because we delight in both, so having them at the same time is something that we always look forward to every time we get the chance. This chance we always grab whenever we get to be in our kitchen and cook our own food, just like today.
Lately, we have found ourselves ordering in again, because things have just been all over the place. Don’t worry, we are all good, just a bit busier than before. Back to us finally being able to cook again… today we decided to prepare a meal not only for ourselves, but also for our loved ones — and that meal is none other than Pork Broccoli.



Pork Broccoli is often found in Asian restaurants here in the country. Often times stir-fried alongside other vegetables, together in a delicious variance of seasonings and sauces, this tasty dish is absolutely a crowd favorite! The contrast between the tenderness of the pork and the crunchiness of the veggies just makes eating this dish more enjoyable. Truly, a classic that can be served on a normal day or even on a special occasion.


Of course, as today is both a normal and special day for us since we finally got time to cook again, as what we have mentioned, Pork Broccoli is what we have made for our family. We missed how all of us are at the dining table again, bantering and catching up about each other’s lives, and just digging into the Pork Broccoli that we had cooked. In boiling water, add salt. Then, blanche broccoli until tender.
Saute' garlic, onion and pork. Then, add salt, soy sauce and mix well.
Add water then, let it simmer for 4-5 minutes. Add ground black pepper and brown sugar.
Add broccoli and then oyster sauce. Mix well. Serve hot and enjoy!
