Eden Cheese had been a true Filipino leader for the past 36 years here in the Philippines and up until now they’re still doing a great job with upgrading meals to the next level.
Last October 23, I was fortunate to attend Eden Cheese New Product Launch held at Limbaga 77 Cafe. This Christmas season, they’ve decided to launch a new product that would help upgrade our Christmas Traditions.
Registration started at 2:00pm and I was welcomed by Eden Cheese staff that asked me to go inside the cafe and head to the 2nd floor where the actual event would be held. I was able to meet Mondelez Philippines Inc. External Affairs Manager, Cherry Pinga-Ramos. She introduced herself and gave me some idea on what’s going to happen on the said product launch that afternoon.
While waiting for the program to start, I was asked to head to the other room to munch on some dishes they’ve prepared. Some of it already has the Queso de Bola on it and some just used the ordinary Eden Cheese. However, I liked everything that was served that afternoon, especially the Puto Bumbong and Limbaga 77 Cafe’s Salad.
The tables have some colored pens and papers with some drawings. I thought at first on what its for but was asked later on to put some colors on the said drawing as its part of the program and they’ll be 3 lucky winners.
The event was hosted by Ms. Issa Litton and one of Mondelez’ very own Patrick De Jesus.
The event started with Raimund Marasigan, a Rock musician and record producer. He used to be an Eraserhead member. The crowd got excited as he sang a series of OPM songs.
Next part of the program was Chef DJ Santos, who did a demo of different dishes and used the new Queso de Bola as an add on for it be on the next level. He even asked volunteers from the audience for every dish.
Here are the dishes that I’m sure we’re all familiar with. We’re all lucky to have a free tast of these right after it was made:

After giving us a taste of Cheesy Caldereta and the Triple Cheese Morcon, we moved to the next part of the program.
Wiji Lacsama whose known as an expert with watercolor tattoos did a demo on how we can be creative both in the kitchen and with arts and crafts.
Lastly, the most awaited part.. Mondelez Philippines Meals Category Manager, Michelle Ianne Gan and SEA and China Marketing Director, Meals Category (Cheese & Grocery), Carlo Licuanan then introduced Eden Cheese New Product and samples were given right away too. There was also Q&A right after introducing the new product.
It is the first flavor innovation by Eden exclusively for Christmas. Eden has already become a Christmas food staple by making holiday dishes more delicious through its creamy taste.
This Queso de Bola flavor is now available in all leading supermarkets at an affordable price of 59php for the 165g pack and 159php for the bigger 440g carton. Make sure to grab one now since it’ll only be available until December 31st.
