Starting with a bestseller – their Crab Fat Calamari (Php 380) is an irresistible plate of deep-fried squid rings tossed in crab fat and crispy nori. Every bite of this was truly a delightful and crunchy play of sweet and savory notes; while their Sopa de Tijuana (Php 285) also came in strong as this one is a homey bowl of rich and creamy corn soup topped with charred corn kernels and crispy tortilla. Honestly, between these two, it’s just so hard to pick a favorite already.
If you want something light and refreshing to begin with though, then don’t worry because the Hunt Restaurant has a few salad choices ready for you to dig into. One of which is their Santorini Summer (Php 355). This is a hearty serving of fresh greens, red bell pepper, and cucumber cubes tossed in greek vinaigrette, topped with sundried tomatoes, black olives, red onions, and crumbled feta cheese. Indeed, a luscious eat just waiting to happen!
Speaking of luscious eats, don’t you dare miss out on Hunt Restaurant’s heavy offering which you can find on their Burger Bar and Mains selections. Served with french fries on the side, their Three Cheese Burger (Php 475) is of juicy beef patty with cheddar cheese, melted mozzarella, quezo de bola crisp, lettuce, tomato, and pickled onions, all sandwiched between house-made brioche buns. Scrumptious, right?
Well, if you think that’s all we got for you, then you definitely thought wrong, because you really should not be missing out on their Krabi Grouper and Dinakdakan. Their Krabi Grouper (Php 825) is a steamed fresh grouper with Thai herbs served with crab fried rice; while their Dinakdakan (Php 325) is a delicious plate of charred pork mask, pork liver, and pork belly tossed in their special sauce and then topped with crispy pork ears. Both of these dishes are truly heavy on the belly so you better remember to leave space for them.
To end this eat strongly as well and by strongly we mean energized and revitalized, may we suggest you go for their Tagbanua Coffee Jelly (Php 225) as well. This one is a generous glass of Tagbanua coffee-flavored jelly with milk granita and sweetened tapioca pearls alongside coffee syrup and crispy rice puffs.
