We actually know two versions of this dish. One is made with coconut milk, while the other is made with evaporated milk or full cream milk. For our Pininyahang Manok today, we have decided to go with evaporated milk since we want something well-bodied and milky. Other than chicken, pineapple chunks, and evaporated milk, we were able to cook our Pininyahang Manok with the use of potatoes, red and green bell peppers, carrots, onion and garlic, salt and pepper, and brown sugar. With all this, we were able to provide our loved ones a sumptuous and healthy dish.
