Let’s take a break from the classics and go with something extra luscious for today, shall we? Do not worry, we are going to answer that one for you: “We shall!”. Sorry, we just cannot help ourselves. Kidding! We answered for you because we know you would not want to miss out on this fabulous dish we have made today. It’s Bulalo but on a whole different level. If you are not familiar with Bulalo, then do know that it is a beef dish here in the Philippines. Specifically, it is a dish that has a light colored soup and is actually made by cooking portions of beef shanks and bone marrow together with leafy vegetables and corn.

Don’t get us wrong, we absolutely love the classic Bulalo, but today, we have decided to go to a different direction. As much as Bulalo is well-known and actually loved by many because of its comforting soup, we are totally stripping that off and have it sizzling instead. Yes, you got that right, we are indeed making Sizzling Bulalo Steak for you guys!

Believe it or not, Sizzling Bulalo Steak is not totally a new dish. It might be to some, but this dish has actually been making a lot of people, including us, drool for quite a time already. If we remember it correctly, we have had this maybe at least once in our many food adventures; and ever since we got a taste of it, we have been planning to recreate it on our own. We just haven’t had the time to try our hand at it until now so we are truly are delighted and excited to share this with you.

Sizzling Bulalo Steak is exactly what its name implies – instead of using beef shanks and bone marrow in making its trademark tasty soup, those very ingredients will be made tender and put on a sizzling plate that will then be generously poured gravy onto. Highlighting tender slices of beef, rich and luscious bone marrow, as well as delicious and thick gravy, Sizzling Bulalo Steak no doubt calls for more than a single cup of steamed white rice, don’t you agree?

With all that, if you want to have Bulalo but not up for its soup form, then we suggest you try your kitchen skills by making a Sizzling Bulalo Steak in your own kitchen too. We promise you, you are going to love every exquisite bit of it!
