Truly, there is so much to love about Sonya’s Garden! From the serenity they could provide to their absolutely refreshing take on having a break which is the Art of Doing Nothing, Sonya’s Garden continue to make their guests fall in love with each and every nook and cranny of theirs. Not only that, Sonya’s Garden is also very much well-loved when it comes to the dining scene especially because their restaurants are open for all, even though you are not staying with them; but mostly, the reason is that Sonya’s Garden is really big on serving only from their farm so their diners are sure to enjoy only the freshest vegetables and the cleanest meats Sonya’s Garden could possibly serve!

As that is the case, we made sure to get a taste of their crowd favorite dishes when we were with them. We decided to go for a few of their ala carte options as we have heard so many praises about all of it! Starting with their Callos in Olive Oil which is definitely a delectable dish that teased our taste buds of the flavorful journey that was about to happen! This dish being a plateful of pork with bell peppers and tomatoes was something light but as we have said, sure was packed with flavor still.

Following that is actually a favorite of ours! Their Chiperones Ensu Tinta was certainly the bomb as it was a generous serving of classic adobong pusit with green chilis which added a delectable kick to its overall savory and sumptuous taste. We are telling you, this dish will exceed your expectations so you better get your hands on this when you get the chance.

Since we already talked about one of our favorites from our lunch at Sonya’s Garden, let us tell you about another. It is given that we enjoy a good Kare-Kare, but Sonya’s Garden’s Kare-Kare positively took our breath away! It was a luscious bowl of pata, banana heart, sitaw, eggplants, and pechay on a bed of rich peanut sauce, served with bagoong. Truly a dish that gets yummies with each spoonful.

And of course, as we love ending all our dining experiences with a bang, Sonya’s Garden served us their Crispy Pata which was undeniably a feast on its own. This was a loaded platter of tender pork knuckle with uber crispy skin, together with leafy greens as a side and of course, its own dipping sauce for that complete Crispy Pata experience.

Obviously, scrumptious is an understatement to define our lunch with Sonya’s Garden. They are truly remarkable with everything that they are doing so if you are up to experience what we just got ourselves into, then we suggest you dine at Sonya’s Garden or better yet, book a stay with them!
