Spam has always been a go-to of ours. If we remember correctly, we shared with you a number of Spam recipes last year that you went cray-cray for. We got you the Spam Mac n Cheese, Spam and Cheese Twice Baked Potato, Spamsilog Burrito, and Spam Fried Rice.

Listing all that down, we have noticed we have really used the saltiness of the spam and turn it into savory recipes that we are sure you have delighted in. With that, we have decided to contradict that classic salty Spam taste with some sweetness because we know, with the right balance, sweet and salty can be drool-worthy!

Waffles are a trusted breakfast food. Their crisp and soft texture that is also patterned sure is a lovely and delectable adventure to the palate, especially when cooked right. With its natural subtle sweet taste, we then thought of putting a twist to it by putting tiny bits of chopped spam into its batter, then cooking it with a waffle maker. Our goal was to achieve that scrumptious contradicting yet complementing play of flavors from both waffles and spam; and spoiler alert, it was a success!
