We were kind of a bit down when we stayed at Pico Sands Hotel, but they are honestly not to blame for all the canceled plans, tours, and activities. Unfortunately, the weather was just not with us that day. It was gloomy and raining, and with that, waves were huge and frankly speaking, scary. That’s why we were not able to do both our Sunset Cruise and Santelmo Cove Tour where we should have had our Boodle Fight. We didn’t want to risk it as Pico Sands Hotel advised us that it would be dangerous to push through. 

Fortunately, though, we were still able to have as much fun as we could within their premises, and we were also still able to devour their promised feast, their Boodle Fight. This spectacular spread is being offered at Sun Coral Cafe and of course, we wouldn’t dare miss out on it!

Instead of having it on Santelmo Cove, Pico Sands Hotel prepared our Boodle Fight near the beach, just outside Sun Coral Cafe. It was surely a wonderful experience still since their Boodle Fight was indeed a generous serving of a variety of seafood, and we got to enjoy each and every dish with our hands, with the refreshing sea breeze cooling us. 

Sun Coral Cafe’s Boodle Fight was a delight, to say the least! For Php 6000, we already had a fill of steamed crabs, buttered mussels, buttered shrimps, sauteed vegetables, grilled squids, grilled tanigue, pancit habhab, and of course, fresh fruits! All these were being cradled by a hearty serving of steamed white rice underneath. 

We were given plastic gloves so as to really enjoy and gobble down as much food as we wanted without being messy! It was no doubt a feast by the beach, and we could not get enough of it! There were 6 of us sharing Sun Coral Cafe’s Boodle Fight and honestly, there was more for each of us. 

Aside from the yummy seafood, we also enjoyed the revitalizing Blue Ternate Juice that Sun Coral Cafe served us. Every sip was such a thirst quencher and it was a highlight of its own.
