In case you missed the Mega Food Fest last week at SM Megamall, worry no more as we got you, fam! Mega Food Fest is a celebration of food at its finest! From burgers, pasta, meat, rice bows and desserts, one would never run out of choices.
We’ve listed all the food we tried from the participating brands. Ready?
Fireside by Kettle
This is the first stall that we visited during the food fest and we definitely made a good choice. Their signature Buttermilk Fried chicken was spot on. And would you believe that the cornbread donut is best eaten with their gravy? Thank us later!
Bahn Mi Kitchen
There are a lot of bahn mi shops that popped out the Metro but this gotta be one of our favorites. We got their Lemongrass Pork bahn mi and it was divine. The pork was so soft and the pate was really tasty.
Poke Poke
We’ve always been a fan of good food presentation so seeing our Samurai Bowl with all those nice colors made us truly excited. The combination of tuna and salmon in one bowl was heaven for seafood lovers like us!
Gangnam Wings
It’s a nice concept of Gangnam Wings to give us Korean-style fried chicken. With 3 flavors to choose from, we had their soy garlic chicken wings. Gahhd, it was so good. We partnered this with Japchae and iced tea and we were solved.
Mighty Quinns, Ippudo, and Yabu
It was really hard to decide which one to try as all three stalls served really good buns. We tried the Brisket Buns of Mighty Quinns and they became an instant favorite. The beef was easy to chew and packed with flavors. The pork one was surprising too!
Makansutra
We’ve always wanted to try Makansutra as we’ve experienced it in Singapore. We had their Thai Style Chicken Chop Rice and it was tasty and filling! It’s affordable too!
NAV
Their Junior Son in Law came as a surprise. Who would have thought that fried quail eggs with assorted dipping sauces can be so good?
