It’s like the sun itself is saying we did a great job and so it is gifting us a beautiful ender. 

As that is the case, we have always been on the lookout for a relaxing, chill place wherein we could let down our hair with yummy food, delectable drinks, and an astounding view of the sunset. If you are also looking for that kind of place, then The Roof at Joy~Nostalg is exactly where you want to be in—this one is an al fresco rooftop bar serving grilled food and cold drinks.

Their Sausage & Pepper Skewers (Php 480) is a plate of garlic pepper pork sausage, capsicum, and coleslaw; their Hoisin BBQ Pork Ribs (Php 560) with honey soy glaze also comes with a side of refreshing cucumber salad; and their Burger Sliders (Php 560) is a serving of three luscious burgers just seducing you to devour all of them. Seriously, these three will ease you right into that relaxed headspace that we are currently in, especially when you want to indulge in an off-the-grill spread. 

Of course, other than their Off The Grill specialties, The Roof at Joy~Nostalg also has scrumptious Bar Snacks that would have you munching and gobbling the night away. We suggest you try their Ceviche, Spicy Salmon Poke, and Crispy California Maki, particularly when you are craving for that Asian flavor fare that we, too, love. 

Their Ceviche (Php 520) is a flavorful serving of shrimp, salmon, avocado, mango salsa, and chilis, alongside a bowl of tortilla chips you can munch on with it; their Spicy Salmon Poke (Php 520) is a revitalizing and filling bowl of mango, avocado, tobiko, sriracha aioli, and crispy nori; and their Crispy California Maki (Php 480) is a plate of rolls made with kani, mango, cream cheese, and baked spicy crab. Truly, a trio you should not miss out on and you would not want to miss out on. 

If you want something to share with the good company you are watching the sunset with, then you better go check out their Pizza selection. Their Pear & Gorgonzola Pizza (Php 850) is a freshly made thick crust pizza topped with grilled chicken, mozzarella, balsamic, and arugula. Yum, indeed! 

All these food options, as we have mentioned, will go perfectly well with the sunset and a few drinks (or a lot; totally your call). Their Cuba Libre, Mango Mojito, and White Sangria are the ones we have tried, and we are telling you, you have got to try them as well. They are splendid, especially when you want a drink that would just lift your spirits up while also calming you down at the same time, as the day fades in the background.
