Not to be sexist… starting this with that sounds a bit off already, but hear us out. Generally speaking, when girl go shopping for clothes, boys get bored out of their wits waiting, and so with recently opened concept store in Banawe, tables have turned as this concept store houses a lot of equipment and whatnots boys would absolutely love!
BuildPlus+ is a build, shop, and dine concept offering everyday and professional home and kitchen improvers who are always on the lookout for unique and value-for-money construction and kitchen tools store. BuildPlus+ is also the only retail hub operating as a one-stop shop for an array of items ranging from quality tools, lighting fixtures, and accessories to car care necessities as well as kitchen and homeware products.
That being said, what sets BuildPlus+ apart from other home hardware retailers is that they are able to integrate two of the most frequent activities people do – shopping and dining! If you are interested in both activities, then keep reading on!
Under the same roof is BuildPlus+’s concept dining store called Megawatt which is a powerplant inspired restaurant offering succulent steaks as well as awesome pizzas, burgers, chickens, and so much more! They also offer their diners an option to have a Keto upgrade on select meals and a special Keto-selection on the menu which you will get to see a few dishes of.
Kicking this off, we opted for their Bacon Bombs (Php 238) which is an easy favorite and is good for people doing or want to try out keto diet. Their Nacho-ordinary (Php 255) is really not your ordinary nachos as these ones are downright yummy and hearty which the gang will absolutely delight in.
Checking out more of their keto options, their Crab Tomalley over Shirataki Noodles (Php 358) is of creamy crab fat on Japanese konjac yam noodles. Meanwhile, their Classic Big Angus Burger (Php 285) can also be upgraded to a Keto Burger which comes with keto fries – mozzarella cheese wrapped with almond flour – and lettuce wrap (+Php 49).
If you are on the hunt for meatier and heavier options, fret no more, because Megawatt has a loaded menu ready to cater your big mood for food. You could go for their 380g USDA Choice Grade Rib-Eye (Php 1299) which we got ours with Mediterranean Spiced rub alongside mashed potato, their Baby Back Ribs (Solo Php 318 | Slab Php 845) which is just saucy and fall-off-the-bone tender, and their 2pcs. Megawatt House Fried Chicken (Php 245) which we had ours with cheese n’ corn on the side.
Another meaty option you could gorge on here at Megawatt is their pizzas which we truly vouch for! Their Megawatt Smokehouse BBQ (Php 349) which is a hand-tossed 12-inch pizza that is of smokey bbq pulled pork with red onions on red sauce, their Volt-Meater (Php 385) which is packed with pepperoni, angus beef chunks, and bacon on red sauce, and their Garlic Trio (Php 299) which is tasty and cracker thin are just a few of what we are aiming to go back for, because each bite is just worthy of a delectable praise.
Other than their pizza, if you are looking for something new to try, better give their croizzas a chance, specifically their Milk Custard Croizza (Php 273) which is a croissant and a pizza in one! You are so not going to regret this food innovation because this is just one of the many things we love here at Megawatt, so we hope you get to have this, too.
More into the sweet goodies, their Strawberry / Blueberry Panna Cotta (Php 220) is just the right tease of sweetness in every mouthful. This one won’t make you a cheater as this one is also good for keto diet.
And to help you down everything, Megawatt has Lick Iced Tea (Php 138) which you could have in different refreshing and healthy variants! Truly, a nice beverage to pair with your scrumptious choice of dishes.
