Richmonde Hotel has been one of our go-to hotels ever since and so when we decided to explore a bit of the beauty Iloilo has to offer, we did not think twice staying with Richmonde Hotel Iloilo because we know we will not only be having a good time, but definitely a great one! Not only do we know our stay with them would be lovely, but our meal times would surely be wonderful, too.

One of the dining options Richmonde has is The Granary which their Iloilo branch also has. This all day dining restaurant of theirs is making tummies happy all day long, starting from their breakfast buffet all the way to the end of the evening before their guests hit their comfy spacious beds, so we are not going to skip meal time with The Granary.

From a bit of a morning round up here in Iloilo, we went back to Richmonde Hotel Iloilo and had our lunch at The Granary wherein we found out that they are currently in the works of revamping their whole menu, putting a twist on Manila classics by adding the delectable flavors of Iloilo and so believe us when we say we are not only getting the first dibs on a bunch of their new offerings, but you, too, are getting first dibs as you are here with us!

It may be lunch time, but we sure did not say pass on the All Day Breakfast offering of theirs which is French Toast. This one is of brioche loaf, butter, honey, walnuts, and toasted oats, topped with peach slices.

Next to that is their Middle Eastern Cold Messe which is an appetizer of theirs and is made of home-made pita bread served with totziki, baba ganoush, and hummus! Truly a healthy and yummy offering of theirs that is a must-try.

Here comes another nutritious option you should not say no to, the Asian Tuna Salad which proves fresh is really best! This dish is a plate of salad greens served with seared tuna in black sesame crust, boiled egg, and fried egg noodles, topped with sesame mango dressing.

From those, head onto their selection of Filipino Favorites wherein you will be able to delight in their Salted Egg Kare-Kare which is an award-winning dish of theirs and has put a yummy twist on the classic kare-kare with the savor of salted egg as well as their Sisig Wrap which you can also get at their Bizbar, a perfect pair for their delectable drinks.

More into some savories, hot off the grill is The Granary’s Barbecued Pork Spareribs which is grilled tender pork ribs with barbecue coating, served with mashed potatoes, and vegetable siding – a favorite of ours, so to say!

Also, their Marinated Boneless Chicken, which is of chicken marinated in herbs, spices, and vinegar, served with buttered vegetable salad and calamansi herb vinaigrette, is absolutely a scrumptious one we recommend for you to have.

Of course, we are not going to get up from our seats without having some sweet kisses from The Granary, also known as their pastries, such as their All Day Treats which is their signature pastries (mini phili cheese steak, carrot cake, pavlova, ensaymada pies, floppy joe) paired with two cups of coffee, tea, or Richmonde Hotel Iloilo’s very own blend of local tsokolate from Balay Tablea and their ever-famous, ever-loved Ensaymada which actually has been a trademark pastry of theirs as this one is truly a cheesy haven.

Meanwhile, chomping on some new and improved mouthwatering delicacies from Richnmonde Hotel Iloilo’s The Granary, of course it is no sin to get thirsty and so what we had was their Frozen Iced Tea (Php 180) which was hands down refreshing.

The Granary of Richmonde Hotel Iloilo is undeniably of drool-worthy dishes and rejuvenating drinks you will indeed keep coming back to, especially they are now pushing for sustainability as well, protecting and preserving our planet!

Gradually, they are trying to take and include these small steps into their operations such as using their very own bamboo straws for their drinks and a whole lot more, so you know when you are with them, you are confident you are not hurting our environment.
