As our team is growing bigger and bigger with each passing day, getting a hold of everything is no easy task. That being said, as we on-boarded some new faces, we decided to go for a simple lunch out with everyone who could attend. It was really not What To Eat PH anymore as we recently just launched another website to touch on more topics other than food – The PH Archipelago.
Anyway, for this lunch out, we headed to Hukad at Southmall as they recently released their Fiesta Boodle, which, yes, you got that right – a boodle fight concept. Here, we got to see how they actually prepare the boodle fight set up, from setting up the banana leaves down to the very last dish placed on top and on the side of the rice.
This Fiesta Boodle Fight of Hukad is currently being offered only by three of their branches, namely Trinoma, Cloverleaf, and Southmall. The availability of the Fiesta Boodle also depends on the Hukad branch so do not expect it to be everyday available, but that you can expect from their Southmall branch.
Also. This Fiesta Boodle of Hukad could satisfy 6 to 8 hungry tummies for only Php 2500! Such a steal, right? Included in this Fiesta Boodle are a bunch of their bestsellers namely Lechon Belly, Ngohiong, Baked Scallops, Calamares, Pork BBQ, Adobong Talong, Red Egg Sisig with Chicharon, Pancit Guisado, Bagoong, Atchara, Rice, Green Mango, and Watermelon! This also comes with a free refreshing pitcher of iced tea to help you gulp down everything.
Everything that is in this Fiesta Boodle of Hukad is undeniably delicious, but of course there are certain ones that made us reach for more of it alongside more rice. Their Baked Scallops, Pork BBQ, Adobong Talong, as well as Red Egg Sisig with Chicharon really got us cheating on our diet and not regretting it.
We really had a great time as we also got their whole function room to ourselves. This function room of Hukad SOuthmall can accommodate 20 to 22 folks, but if you would go for a classroom setting, then it could hold up to 30 people.
And with all that had happening, we got to know more about each other and support each of us in our own endeavors. It truly is wonderful to know that you are part of something that has a purpose, something that is unique in a way, something that will be there, and we thank Hukad Southmall for making this fabulous lunch happen!
