It was really raining hard in Antipolo last July, but that surely did not stop all the fun! With a buzzing food scene, there is no doubt that you will find something to love here. However, if you want what snatched our hearts recently, then do know that we actually have a place that not only had us wrapped in deliciousness, but also had us dancing joyfully!
Leon Authentic is a well-loved Mexican restaurant in Antipolo, and many people were actually down to have found out that they closed their place temporarily. Good thing that sad news was just for a short time, because finally, back in July, Leon Authentic Mexican opened their doors again—this time to a bigger, better, and even more colorful place!
Upon entering Leon Authentic Mexican, you will already feel the exciting energy around you! Their bright walls painted with a wonderful mural plus their vibrant decorations certainly add charm to their whole look.
Other than their new space, though, of course, a lot of Leon Authentic Mexican’s loyal patrons and even new customers are excited to have a taste of their dishes! They are absolutely worth the hype, we are telling you.
Their Leon’s Signature Nachos (Php 269) is a generous bowl of freshly cooked corn tortilla chips, topped with ground beef, refried beans, cheese sauce, and jalapeno, then smothered with mixed cheese. No wonder this one’s a crowd favorite!
Another Leon Authen Mexican dish that is munch-worthy is none other than their Shredded Carne Quesadilla (Php 329). This one is slow-cooked shredded beef with Leon’s seasoning and mixed cheese in a 10″ flour tortilla toasted and served with homemade salsa and Leon’s white sauce—so good!
Next, Leon Authentic Mexican’s Burritos should not be missed out on as well! We got to try both their Carne Burrito and their Pollo Asada Burrito.
Their Carne Burrito (Php 339) is Mexican rice, cubed beef with Leon’s seasoning, red kidney beans, bell peppers, corn, cilantro, and jalapeños wrapped in flour tortilla, then served with Leon’s freshly cooked nachos, cilantro sauce, homemade salsa, and cilantro dip. Yummy, indeed!
Meanwhile, their Pollo Asada Burrito (Php 284) is cubed chicken with Leon’s seasoning, fresh lettue, refried beans, chipotle sauce, and salsa, wrapped in a flour tortilla, served with Leon’s freshly cooked nachos and homemade salsa. Every bite is so flavorful, believe us!
Lastly, Carnitas Fajitas (Php 479) is perfect for meat lovers out there! This is a sizzling plate of marinated and grilled sliced pork, red, green, and yellow bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheddar cheese, plus served with 2 pieces of 6″ flour tortilla, salsa, and Leon’s white sauce.
